Yeh, IMO most of the detail on that TV is unnecessary, or would be done sufficiently with a texture...

They look good though...

@Quik

That is a fire hydrant, they are usually red, or yellow and red, at least in America.

They don't exist in Britain...

I've just noticed some awful stretching on the Hydrant as well, on the pokey out bits at the side....

ok so far ti is looking good. but if i where you i would completely work on the textures. you can get a lot of extra detail if you work on the details.

How does your fire department put out fires?

Fire engines carry water on board. they're filled up at the station.

The models look really good, keep it up. Although, as the others have said, there are too many polys on some of them.

Also due to the nature of the weather in the UK we are never too far from a source of water. We do have hydrants however thay are tied in with our water supply.

Dont forget you can use bump mapping to give the illusion of a highly detailed mesh.

Though I would suggest a little more practice at your humans.

I give ip with thos baner fing as it never seems to work for me. I woll now stop wasting mu time.

I'mnot sure its the textures that need work, I think you need to do more work on your uv mapping. THe textures right now are coming out kinda blurry, and stretched like theyre not being given the right amount of space on the UV map.

Also, you need to smooth and/or average your normals, there are alot of black triangles, or areas where the triangulation is really obvious on the meshes, because the normal data isn't quite right. If you sorth this out, your models will look alot smoother anyway!

I want robotic legs.
