Here is a rube golberg I did for a school assignment, done in 3DS MAX. Its not very long, but then I didn't really put much work into it. It's nothing great, but I'm happy with it.

Anyone like it? Anyone hate it? Anyone have one of their own they want to show?

Thanks, Quik! I wish I could've made it longer/better, but It's due tomorrow. Maybe I'll make it better over break, since tomorrow is the last day of the semester.

yeah, you don't want to drag those things out. You gotta know when to let it die.

You need to make your video player more idiot-friendly. I must've looked pretty stupid staring at a blank box before I realized I had to hit play. xD

True. I'll change the settings to auto play.

In the bottom left corner of the player.

Just get Firefox. In the Acid3 test, it scores 77 while IE8 scored 2.

I managed to get it working, I quite enjoyed it untill the camera did some funky movement when the ball landed into the funnel, prehaps make a cut in the movie and move the camera and rerender at that point. I wasnt able to see how the fuse was lit.

Just a suggestion, the dominoes would look really cool if they where mad of a glass like material refracting a coloured light against the floor.

Other than that nice job.

I give ip with thos baner fing as it never seems to work for me. I woll now stop wasting mu time.

Huh. I used to be able to see it, but now there's just a white square (using Chrome).

OKAY! Due to my ftp being stupid and cutting out halfway through a transfer of a new file, it messed up the player skin for the video player. Its fixed now, and you should definitely be able to view all my videos. I am adding two more as I type!
If you CAN'T view the videos, clear your cache. That SHOULD clear out the busted player and video stuff, allowing you to properly load and view the videos.
Thanks for all your patience, and I hope you enjoy the videos!

It's not bad but I don't think the ball would fly that far, and you spelt Goldberg wrong in a few places.

That would be pretty neat, but it would be hell to render. The one that's up now took over two and a half hours to render. I think, optimistically, if I were to add even one reflective map, I expect that would at least double the render time.

Just for the record, there is a match attached to the gear. When the gear spins, it strikes the match, and then the match lights the fuse.
