Money, drugs, weapons, violence. That's the world of Drive By Loving.
You're a normal guy, his name? Nobody cares, now...

You need money. But how? A job, good idea! But... what kind of job?
Work in a shop? In a restaurant? Yeah, for sure, that's like you're looking! Hahaha. What you're doing now?
The telephone is ringing. It's for a job. What kind of Job? Well, you'll see.


You remember Grand Theft Auto? Not the new 3D, i'm talking about the old "2D" GTAs.
I hope i can make a small game like that.

Well, i have not so much to show, i started a few days ago.
But the things are fast going on, so... we'll see

"Sounds and looks interesting" (Well, I always say that). Even though you don't really have to show more than the menu.. But at least that's pretty sweet.
After reading the first paragraphs I was kinda shocked, thinking that you had played to much GTA IV... but the fact that you want base the concept on GTA II seems much more realistic, and potentially fun.

Maybe Wii-mote controls would be appropriate in Oolite's concept. However, I can see you've got an interesting style in your main menu. Hope you can convey that gritty look into the game itself too.

It looks interesting.

Right now the environment isn't particularly urban. It looks more like middle america.

I think you need to work on the polycount on the van, as there are a number of poly's that look like they're not needed, and I would have thought that once you get into the actual point of having lots of cars, people and so on on the map, you're going to need everything to be efficient.

Also, your white lines in the road are the same width as the cars.

The menu screen is nicely done. I like the filters applied.

I want robotic legs.

The map is just for testing the main functions.
Before i make a good looking map or models, i'll make the game playable.

Ya i thought allready about that. Maybe if the cars are out of sight, they'll will be just a cube model or something.
