Hey,
I Just thought that I would ask you guys what you think of my paintball gun. Because It is my first Weapon, It will be free for everyone. I hope to have it animated within the month. so... if you have any other suggestions, now would be the time to speak (or type for that matter).

the gun looks fine (if a bit blocky), but the wrist of the left hand is bent at an angle which looks unnatural to hold it like that.

also, if this was intended to go into fpsc, look at the wireframe you have, there are some n-gons, try to make sure they are all quads

Kind of boxy, but it looks good for a start. I guess its the Ben Tippmann (The brother to the guy with Tippmann A5 ) marker.
Try to add lots of more polygons (triangles).

n-gons are polygons with more than 4 sides, some game engines really throw a wobbley at them and others triangulate them automatically, They are considered bad practice. Try to cut the n-gons into quads that way you have control on how it happens and what looks best on your model.

I give ip with thos baner fing as it never seems to work for me. I woll now stop wasting mu time.

N-Gons are best off when modelling high poly models which then can be used for a normal or bump map later on.

Okay...
Here is an update.
I have the gun animated to my pleasing and it is in X format. but it still needs textured. and it would be great if someone with weapon creator or fpsc toolbox could position it into the window. I just loaded it in and i see just the right arm. if someone does please respond to this thread and i will post it.
