it says i don't have the latest version of directX installed,but my comp came with DirectX10 and windows vista pre-installed on it.any suggestions?

im no expert, but, im presuming you are trying to use the fpsc demo, correct?

If so, i think you need DirectX9 installed aswell as DirectX10

But i may be wrong

Yes Asteric is correct, you still need to install the latest version of DirectX9 to make it work. They run together so don't worry about removing DirectX10 as it will still be there alongside DirectX9.

Which Fps Creator demo? For Fps Creator X9, you need DirectX 9.0 drivers, which you can download here

For Fps Creator X10, you need to update DirectX 10 files you can Google "DirectX 10 download"

Note that your video card needs to be the Nvidia Geforce 8800 or the Nvidia Geforce 9500 or Nvidia Geforce 9600 or Nvidia Geforce 9800 series. Or the ATI Radeon HD 3600 series or the Ati HD Radeon 4800

I enjoy making games but I like searching for artifacts more.

is there any way to improve the AI of the characters in the game without reprograming it? also,there\'s a great game available completely free (it was fully released in downloadable form by the company that made it).it\'s available at www.CCGR.org in the downloads section/free games section (the game is \"Eternal War:Shadows of Light\").if you know how to import stuff to FPS creator,you could use the monsters and weapons in your games,so be sure to check it out.
