Sweet!

give him some fingers. And I think the whole arms needs a lil more shaping.

Great for a first.

The arms are generally way too big, the entire stomach area is too wimpy an tiny, the hips are doing something strange and the legs seem a little wide.

hmm i see two options here, either change the proportions or he could be a starving hobo soldier with deformed hips who has a leg infection and originated from a orang-utan?

Yeah, ill try and fix those proportions for you now

the stomach looks fine, not every character needs to look like the hulk. As far as I see it looks pretty good, the feet could use a little work the hips look abit off, but that might just be the angle, The wrist looks like it could be a little smaller round. other than that I think it looks good. I can't really comment on the arms length cause the angle but from what I can tell they look fine I think.

yeah the arms are fine, just taper out the forearms abit and give em thinner wrists. taper out the calves leading to thinner ankle area, like the wrists, other than that everything else seems fine.

You fail to see my point, everyone has a certain amount of definition in their stomach area, whether they are fit or not. While his stomach is just completely straight from what I can see.

everyone has a certain amount of definition in their stomach area. do they? Most people I know don't work out. Not to mention that Majority of the people in the world are not all that buff either.

besides, He's wearing plated armour. how much buff do you want.

Omg, when it corrupts the file it is Sooooooooooo damn ANNOYING i had to remodel my desert eagle like 3 times because of that. You'd think that autodesk could code something properly (especially saving)!

Ouch, sorry to hear that. I set my autoback to 9 and save multiple files along the way. Set up a folder and a good naming structure. firstchar_v01.max or something.

You lose your stuff once or twice before you develop a nervous twitch for saving stuff lol.

Looking nice!
But i would delete some of those extruded faces and just fake them in the texture.

And maybe make the arms a bit smaller and the torso a bit bigger
And the boots alot bigger like gears of war style.
