I've been working on this game for nearly a year now. Peeping Tom is just a code name, its not final.

Its gonna be a molding of game play from different games like GTA, Zelda, and MGS.
Action, adventure RPG.
It wont have nudity but will be a little pervy at times.

You play as a only child boy who recently got expelled from high school. There is an emphasis on your mother who is your only parent. Her heart was broken when she found out her only son, the only thing good in her life, was taking pictures of girls in the ladies change room. Of coarse you cant tell her you were only doing it for money, that would break her heart even more.
Your mom casts you out into the world until dinner time.

This is where the adventure begins.

You will be:
-sneaking around and stealing things
-meeting weird/ wacky/ pervy people who will get you to do things you would probably regret in reality.
-Taking pictures of unsuspecting victims
- breaking into houses & stores
- obtaining items that you require in order progress
- running from police

I'm a noob programmer, I would really like some help just questions I can ask, or someone who will help me develop code.
I started programming this about 2 weeks ago, I've gotten a few things done already. such as:

3rd person camera
first person camera with camera and zoom GUI
throwing physics and GUI
Run,walk,sneak

been working on with difficulty:
Joystick compatibility
Collision!

Still need to start:
Ai
inventory
menu


I'm not gonna ditch this game, I'm working on it until its done, or I have at least a demo.

Nice sketchwork and modelling. Sounds like an interesting game, but one I wouldn't let my kid near!

You have some good modelling skills. The game concept sounds pretty awesome. Very japanese. I think it sounds like a big job to complete, but you've done well enough so far. Good luck.

You're probably best off learning/tackling the problems you have separately. Maybe by making small programs and getting help in the programming forum, being sure to explain well what it is you don't understand or want to know how to do. There's often someone around who will happen to know exactly the thing you want to know.

tire: The game will have a feature that will permanently destroy anyone under 18, so no need to worry about children playing it!

mr.Tank: thanks a lot, Im going for a very Japanese feel. Using everything Japanese as reference.
Thanks for the advice, I've already made a few diff projects just to get the camera mode, cops chasing you, etc.
Dont be shy to help me out if you see my thread in the programming section!

The models and screenies look good so far Nice work.

I didn't realize anyone would make a game about my life! Wow! It's like a free roaming pokemon snap... if the pokemon are lady types. Sounds good to me.
