Awesome looking entries so far, looking forward to seeing more. Can't say I'm a big fan of lens flares though X Games, I think it would have been nice just to see the original shot.

The Apollo forum doesn't like spaces in the file names;

Try changing the filename of your sig to Sig1Winterwake.png, without the spaces.

Besides, if you don't own a license to use EFX Commercially, I don't think it's permitted in competitions/contests. This is a contest, so wouldn't that automaticly disqualify you?

Just saying.

Take a guess of what just happened XD! I just did alot of work and I DID save it all. But just when I was finished making a level, I clicked save and an error message popped up (non-fpsc) and FPSC froze! Then when i tried to open task-manager, same message! When I restarted FPSC, and tried to load the level, almost all the work I had done was gone! I DID save in between. I dont know what caused this! I have had to restart my computer at least 10 times today because of this! I may not be able to enter this contest.

And now it blacks-out completely again!
Sry for hijack

thanks

I unfortunately won't have my entry ready on time. I am investing just too much time in my level design tutorial to effectively complete a warehouse scene. I love all the entries, though, and can honestly say that even if I did enter I wouldn't win anyhow!

Tonight I'll start judging the entries and have the post with the final scores tomorrow. I have a doctors appointment and a drumming gig tonight, so I'll be busy with that, but I'll have the results up tomorrow.

@Wolf:

I lawled. No, I'm not a lawyer, but we have had a few incidents that have resulted in the removal of EFX from our forums. The EFX dev team seems to be pretty put-off by us on these boards anyways, so another incident would further decrease the chance of getting it for OUR use.

@Bendak: Ok Sorry, for the comment then. You`re right, for first, the Helix Team didn`t want to release the EFX at all. Be patient, I`ll bet there will be a new release soon

Signs IV is a content creation program with many features, most notably the ability to create custom signs for your games and attach text, video, or audio messages to them... no coding required.

I've already started assigning points. It's just a matter of finishing that up and declaring the winner. But right now I have a role in an indie film that I have to go shoot.

The winner of the Screenshot Contest #4 is Toasty Fresh!

Unfortunately, I don't have the scores any more (computer froze while saving them), but Toasty Fresh was the winner!

Thanks a lot, all of you, and yes I would like to judge Darimc. Thanks. I'll consider what the next theme should be.

I don't know, that might be unfair on others since EFXMod is now unavailable. But the final verdict is up to Darimc.

Darimc, do you want me to make an example shot?

EDIT: Actually, I've changed my mind. The new theme shall be Underground/Mine.

Ok, I will make the next competition on the 8th. An example screen would be appreciated, if not I will use one from somewhere on the forums.

Sorry, but x10 is not allowed at this time.

@Wolf, you should release that as a multiplayer level.

@Darimc: Would be nice! But, Multiplayer in FPSC is a bit dodgie. (Does this word exist?)
