Terry- That is strange, but yet is still good to know. Thanks.

john-Yes you can do all those things. (water color, airmod)

Also, I am considering trying out dual wield. No promises on that though.

The new commands will not be released to public, only our beta testers, until the full version is complete.

sweet! i may get this mod instead?!!?! how much will it cost, will it have the new airmod, and when you said yes to all, did you mean to mirgration too??!??!?!?! if t has dual wield oh my god!! and the blood spurt is there anyway it can be edited (if i can do it myself , i would love to know how lol) so it looks like real blood not blood mist, ok, i feel really bad for leaving blue, but i really need ragdoll and bloom (and the other stuff, lol) no descicions yet, but will hopefully decide which soon (either way both are great)
(by the way, if there is anyway you can give me a sneak preview of the mod and its new commands that would be amazing ([email protected]) but i understand if not, after all, im no better then everyone else

wow i just reread this thread...and i gotta say, im proud s4real and ply, are giving feedback and helping this mod/thread, even though they are making a different one. great sportsmanship guys (and the same to the wizzmod guys)

It will cost 5 us dollars.

Also, we already have BETA testers. As I said, when the mod is done, we will do what Blue did. You can test games, but not build them unless you buy.

And yes, Ply and the others have been very kind.

GamerDude- Awesome!

John
- Please don't mistake what we are saying.

This mod is incomplete. There are still tons and tons of things to do. I will be honest, bloom and dual guns may not happen.

It all depends. It is a lot of work to make a good mod.

Also, all mods have different purposes. Ply's mod was made for scripting. Now the blue mod is made for scripting and speed.

Our mod was originally for graphical effects, and speed ups, however, it is now becoming a great scripting mod.

Just wait a bit. Both of these mods are changing drastically.

Yes, be grateful that you are not one of the ones coding it. Take what you can get, my friend. I'll do some more testing in a bit, here.

okay i really do hope that bloom and daul happen, but if not its okay, (though the bloom i really need, so i dont know what im gonna do without it ) and ya i know that making mods take a while, i could never do what you guys are doing, and i want you to know, that i along with everyone else greatly appreciate what you are doing
(maybe for wizzmod v2 i could help you guys out in some way, i dont know what i can do, im not really good at anything other then level creation and such, but i guess i can help think of new ideas )
ps: im sorry if you think im being harsh, this mod is great, i was just trying to learn a couple things about the mod, thanks for baring with me
pps: this mod is already awsome, cant wait the see the free version, and hopefully buy the full version when i get the money
ppps: lol, if you guys need any ideas of stuff to add on just ask me lol im stuffed full of ideas but its great as is anyways (oh and one more Q. will airmod SE be implemented when ready? )

I dont know airmods plans for that edition. He may not give the code away for free.

Anyway, its fine. Its just a trial and error kind of thing, so yeah, it takes a bit of time.

Also, bloom will kill fpsc's framerates, so be warned.

Note: If we get LOD working, it will be in there for sure...

(if i have enough money, and you dont want to buy the airmod SE source, could i buy it for you? )

Well, if SE source is availible only through purchasing yes...

but it would pry cost more than this mod alone!

I dont know, we will see how it all pans out
------------------------------------------

Lod is in almost all games. You know how sometimes when you are playing a game, and the mountain far away looks all square, and when you get up close to it, it looks nice?

That is lod.

It helps performance tremendously.

LOD = Level of Detail

Basically, the further you are from something, the lower the detail on that will be. It's an optimization technique... nothing truly fascinating, actually. If it's done right, no one will even know it's there.

I don't know what I was seeing. I have rebooted and then ran FPSC and the dynamic lighting seems to be working in my finished level.

I will be discussing this with Lee.

it would be cool if you could change the brightness of lights, without changing the range, maybe that could be a feature to include i bet it would help alot of people (me included lol)

If this has all that, I will be purchasing it, but only if it has airmod. Airmod is like the backbone of most mods, and is almost mandatory IMO.

There's already a command for that, it's called "LightIntensity".

Well, bloom and ragdoll are very hard but they are things we are very interested in adding. Like apple slicer said, there is still a lot of work to do and there is not guarantee that they will be added but I will do my best

I cant at the minute sorry, I can add you and try and talk to you later or tomorrow, although you might be better to make a topic about your errors in the dbpro board. I would be happy to try and help but I find shaders a bit confusing, so i might not be the best person to ask.

Anyway back on topic, I have added a way of setting the next level, ie, previously you had to start level 1 then 2 then 3.... now you can choose so you can make it jump from level 1 to 20 to 12 to 2 etc.... This will be great for anybody who want to make an RPG style game or free roam style game...

Anyway I think you will like it

How is bloom even acheived? Is it through shaders on the camera? Or being cheap and using the blur thing?

lol i really cant wait, but if you guys ask ply, maybe you can merge mods, his is free anyways isnt it, you could even charge 10$ instead of 5$ itd deffinityl be worth it
and when are you guys gonna get to work on wizz mode v2 lol, i know this one hasnt come out yet, but there is only so much you can give away for 5$ you dont want to use up all you ideas on v1, you should post a "wizz mod v2 idea thread" for some outside help (like my huge email i sent you apple (i think it was apple lol))
ps: i have to say, this mod is getting way better then i excpected, i thuoght it was going to be another "just performance mod" but keep improving graphics, and adding new stuff that other mods dont have, and that five dollar price will be for the demo!

(Removed Buggy Blood Hud until fixed- when fixed, what will it look like) how many new scripts are you guys adding all together

Wow, a lot has gone on since I last checked this thread.

Here's an idea I had for a while but never got around to working on:
Instead of just adding Bloom or DoF or Motion Blur or w/e, how about adding a .ini that users could input their desired Full Screen shaders into and have the system load them and apply them appropriately? Of course, some of these full screen shaders require additional input from the engine, so coupling this with a script for each would allow things like Motion Blur to happen as well.

With that in place, you wouldn't have to worry about putting in Bloom or anything like that yourself, the users could do it.
