Hello there. Just been modelling this on and off for about a day now, still need to texture and animate but im hoping it will be going into FPS creator as a free weapon. So enough talk heres a screeny:

Comments and Crits welcome. How can I improve what should I do next time. Also im using the MP6 hands how would I create a bone from the bones in the hands to attach them to the gun? Im using 3dsmax. Thanks

Jack

Maybe the fact that you haven't posted any wireframe shots or such but only two shaded shots of it affect how many people comment on it, and besides people can be busy. No need to expect responses after only a few hours.
Looks pretty good but as I noted above, no wireframe usually doesn't help anyone help you. The only thing I can see right now is that the handle is quite thin and you have some very sharp edges by the trigger guard.
EDIT: Fixed the text a bit, and wow you responded fast.

Looks pretty good, but I think you can remove some of the polly's in the cylinder at the front of the gun.

Nice model, thicken up the handle, place a texture, and it would look good enough to shoot someone with. =D

Considering that it's an FPS model, you could easily just leave out the hole in the front of the gun and save 10-15 polies easily.

Otherwise, cool!

BMaczero: well, take CS:S for example: when you reload you see all of the gun, including the shooting hole in the front on most guns, so it depends on how the shooting, reloading and all that animations look like=P

i say: great job, keep it up, now put on a nice looking texture

Ok just finished UV mapping. There were a few faces left but you either can't see them or there so small you won't notice the difference. Starting texture soon.

Not bad. Are you making the texture custom or off of a photo?

I had nearly completed the whole texture when I realised it looked wrong. So I starting again with a better idea. Expect the gun to be textured and possibly animated by the end of the week. I will try and add to FPSC during the weekend or Monday. Thanks

Jack.
