Im guessing you have an intergrated card you can find out by clicking

My Computer
>>
System Properties
>>
Device Manager
>>
Select display adapters from list and read out what it says under that sub-heading

You can also get to it via control panel or by searching for device manager but im not going to type how do it that way.

Or go to start>run?type dxdiag>go to display and you'll see the graphics card.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "all the v109 stuff" but if you reinstalled v1, then that is what you will have.

I wish I would have seen this right away because what you should have done first and foremost was to download a current directx.9.0c redistributable.

Starting with I believe v1.09 of FPSC required a newer version of 9.0c. There are many updates of this version. In fact the most current is March 2009. Get your directx updated (using MS current redistributable) and then reinstall v1.09.

If it says you don't have August 2006 then you either don't have August 2006, or one of the ddl's is corrupt.

Sir,your graphics card is a piece of crap.I have one but I put an ATI Radeon HD 2400 instead.
Honestly that chipset is junk and won't run FPSC very well.

Install Direct X 9 again, you can just google it.

Either that, or your graphics card is not compatible.

Visit my site http://www.fpsmodels.com for models and media for fps creator.

sir, you have to tell me where to get a driver or installation or SOMETHING for it, the computer i built had an ATI Radeon 2400Pro and it does not recognize it at all.

Google ATI.You can download the catalyst suite and the drivers there.
Also the 2400 comes with an installation disk as well though I would advise loading from the ATI site as their drivers are up to date and the ones on the disk will not be.

Integrated chipsets never really do well with FPS Creator. I used to encounter the same issues. Best thing to do is get a fairly decent graphics card with at least 256mb of VRAM. I run FPS Creator like gold on my Nvidia GeForce 6200, a considerably older card.

Temporarly away from the Phoenix Sentry.

my question is though: I have everything a v109 fpsc user would have, but when I turn it on, the splash screen says fpsc v1.

can I use mods or not
