It looks like an XM8 had babies with a Barret .50 Cal... Also, why is the barrel's end a huge open circle? That's not what a real .50 Cal looks like.

EAI has it pictured on his 2008 GCS thread, but I don't think he's released them to the store. If he has, then I must have totally overlooked them some how

I'm not ready to be "amazed" until I see a wireframe shot.

It comes with age and experience (something the FPSC forums lack).

High poly means that its normally unsuitable for fpsc, and the model is your mates?

We choose to crit more, since, 'yeah great' doesn't help the person at all here, while at the fpsc boards people want to preach to the choirs about, 'how freakin totaly noob owning the model is' I could make a button saying 'boom' or 'gameover', place it in a room and set off a nuke killing everything in a game, and still be hailed a hero...

We on the other hand like to see the model for what it is, the polies, the verts, we ask why a model needs the locking meachism slightly changed, or how the barrel contains too many edge loops, or why on earth theres hundreds of random extrusions, to which the answer usually is, 'I thought it looked cool'

Where slightly more displined, as darmic put it,

Im not taking a cheap shot at fpsc, just explaing why we are more hard mannered. Definately not taking a shot at, Ruccus, hell no...

It doesnt even look that high poly either. You can see the edges of polys protruding through (especially in the ammo clip and at the base of the scope).

Even with that I wouldnt be too amazed unless it was his very first modeling attempt.
