@shadowfire: Cool Dude!

@Matuka: Now, my gun is invisible Is there no way I can prevent this stretching using Fragmotion?

Export from Milkshape instead. I've always had problems with exporting .X when I used Fragmotion.

Are you exporting through DirectX (JT)? You need to tick the box for "Right Handled" under the Geometry options in the export window. Best not to export using DirectX 8.0 mode, always Direct X JT. Hope this helps.

That's really odd. I noticed in Milkshape that when I import characters to edit (after converting them to .ms3d through Fragmotion) they're left handed in the editor but when I export to directx and I select right handled they turn up right in FPSC. When you have the model in Milkshape is it mirrored to the left? But if you don't mind that's ok I guess lol.

For me =

Could someone please rig the Combat 44 to the Snubnose animations and send the .x to me? I'll take it from there.

EAI is OK with this.

For lulz = How about Fletcher's free Elite rigged to one of EAI's anims?

Why is everyone so possesive? This thread is to show off all the awesome things you can do with some extra work, but everyone else seems to care more that they did it first.

Same here. If ID and Ubisoft started going:
Quote: "I got volumetric lighting and real time physics in my engine before you did! *rasp*"
, then no one would ever make or try anything new.

@Wolf: I meant the gun mods, lol. I don't even own x9 so efx mod wouldn't really work. I saw a english version put up somewhere, can't remember where though. lol, I'll keep that in mind if I ever do get x9. But I didn't hear it from you.

I remember Errant saying in another thread that I could release my MP5N variants so long as I don't inclue any textures. So what that means is that if you want these you'll need any media that uses the same textures as them. For example, any of my (or Lewis's) G36 variants could be released, but you would need to have purchased Errant's G36C from the store, as well as have in your possession any of the attachment textures used on the model. So I can't release my ACOG'd G36C because I and Errant are the only ones in posssession of the texture used for it. Unless he gave the OK. Which he probably will after what he said about releasing some assets for you modders.

Sorry for that mouthful. Errant, can you please confirm this for me?

Also, Errant 'sort of' helped me with those variants. He gave me the media (such as the ACOG) but I did the rigging and animation myself.

That's sounds pretty sweet. Hypothetically, could we UV map them and texture them ourselves?

lol, he probably wouldn't be too happy. I planned on getting the G36C sometime anyways. BTW Toasty, I saw your H&K UMP model in 3d chat. It would be awesome if you could animate it and put it into FPSC. The UMP is my all-time favorite gun.

Gee whiz, that old thing? I do really like that gun, but now that I use MAX I'd probably be more comfortable with making a new one. That old one is far too high-poly for FPSC anyway.

Oh, lol. I found by searching UMP. I was looking for screens to compare mine to. I'm new to modeling so its not that good, but it is the best I've done yet. Anyways, it would be really cool if you made a new one.

so could anyone please modify the combat44 to use the snubnose's instant-reload function?

if you're busy that's fine, but this thread has seen little progression, so i presume not

I would do it mate, but I opened them both up and got confused big time. It's different from the pistols and that, you just have a magazine, not individual bullets etc.

Pretty awesome mod Toasty, but I don't get the CoD reference?

What was that program AaaGreen mentioned that could Load .X files? I can't find where he mentioned it...
