Yeah, so I was wondering how many of you gamers out there have a controller with force feedback capabilities? I was wondering if I should implement force feedback into my game, but if less than 10% have rumble paks, I don't think it would be necessary...

So, if you have one, post here, possibly with a screen shot, and if you don't have one, post here to say you don't have one!

I have a speed link strike game controller with 1 motor on each side (2 motors). And here is a screen shot:

I use the XBox 360 Controller for Windows and it seems more and more games for the PC are geared towards that specific controller (thinking of controller support for stuff like Left4Dead, Fallout 3, The Last Remnant Bioshock etc.)

It has a rumble feature, as it does for the console and Dark Basic should be fully compatible as it works with the same input as normal controllers.

Same as me. I love it, one of my favorite controllers of all time. Very true about games for the PC working welling with the 360 controller, GRID and the latest Prince of Persia worked perfectly with it. It's really nice to plug in the controller and have the game automatically switch to show the 360 buttons to use.

I have a rumble pack for my N64 controller.

Oh... That's irrelevant, right?

I have a 360 controller too, but I'm not sure if you can connect the wireless controller to a PC.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm under the impression that the rumble is the only feature on the 360 pad which you can't access with regular DirectInput (i.e. without the XINPUT API designed explicitly for the 360 pad)

Not if you have this.

Keep those controllers and non-controllers coming!

Ah I see, I've never tried using it with DBP's force commands, just the input.

That one is not compatible with the Rumble Pak (No force feedback support). I know because I have one of those. The adaptoid had it, but it was discontinued before I could buy it! =/

I adore my 360 controller, its wireless so all I have to do is sync to my wireless receiver and it works, and same with my xbox.

I have several gamepads with rumble and the rumble doesn't work on any of them outside of the Control Panel.
