How do I change the bounding box for the headshots. As much as I love having the guys head explode, when you shoot someone in the middle of the chest and it still happens it takes away from the experience, as you feel like you didn't earn it.

I'm not sure if it's already changeable or not, but I'll quickly add a new bounding box command for you for the next release

I'm hoping to release the next version today or tomorrow, but no promises as I'm also busy revising for exams.

I believe there's something in Nickydude's Community Guide about headshots. If I remember correctly, you should be able to control it with a value like headshot=58 in the appear script. Sorry, can't look it up now from this computer.

Thanks D0MINIK. For anyone who wants the info:

HEADSHOT=X
Where 0 is immune, 1 is default, and any other value equals custom headshot height. We found that the default was a little low, about from the upper chest up on some characters, so we used about 50.

An idea that lately came to my mind is how about this command:

setplrlives=X

That's something that hasn't been there in any other mod so far (at least to my knowledge), and something that's a real lack in FPSC.


Btw, I don't get what's meant by Horizon Mod...

Anyway, I'm hoping for that uuuupdaaate

Then let me update your memory banks for a second. PBUM has been capable of doing this for quite some time now.



But, yes, I suppose without thinking about it, people would assume it's not a feature. Would be nice if Horror Mod had it, too.

Just wondering that since I paid for 2Rogues to have HM and he didnt get a working version can I give it away to somebody else? I bought him another mod instead to suit his needs better.

I would like to find the guy here on the forums who asks for nothing and gives all the time then give him the mod. Let me know if this is ok so you can put that person on the list so he/she can receive the mod and updates. Thanks.

Thanks and now to find a worthy candidate.

I LOVE the mod but I dont make the games I just model them so its not really my choice which mod we will use. Personally I want HM for my personal scifi horror game I have planned so I will for sure buy the 1.16 version when it comes out if Horizon dont suk me in

I will let you know who shall be the lucky gamer when I find that special someone.

I read on some thread somewhere that you accept payment in the form of models/model packs? If so, would you like my WW2 destroyed buildings pack? E-mail me, if you don't take models, don't e-mail me (duh, sorry, I happen to be Cpt. Obvious a lot). I am very interested in this mod I've only released only some entities in the pack to BlackFox, so it's totally unique

knxrb... your good nature and attitude are what makes me buy your programs. Honestly I dont think I have made a full level of a game yet but sure have fun with all the toys you make.

I am sure Horizon will be the newest greatest thing. Cant wait to see what its going to be like to build a game with. Are you going to post it in the WIP? Let me know if you guys need some base models for the engine.

So what is Horizon then? I was so looking forward to a new engine to play with. Even tho FPSC is great fun it would have been nice to have the ease of FPSC with the abilities of other engines.

Another idea that came to my mind while playing UT3 during the last days was the following:

It would be really cool (if possible) to have weapons that can do headshots and those who can't. For example, I would love to have the Tavor placing precise headshots, but laser weapons like the Blaster or Assault Rifle should not be able to shoot the head off in my view.

You can see, I'm a big sci-fi fan. Don't know if that idea really fits to Horror Mod, let me know what you think

I've just finished the new licence system for Horror Mod, this will make it faster for buyers to get their copies and it will make it easier for me to give out the new releases and updates

How come Airmod isn't working? I've heard that some mods have had variable declaration issues with Ply's Mod integration, but I only looked at the Airmod source once and really didn't pay any attention.

Everything goes in and works ok except for the main feature which is the bit where you look down the gun sights.

Where does the DBPro license say that? As far as I'm aware you can make a game maker engine in DBP, you just can't use the FPSC source for it.

(Lord knows I've made my fair share of engines in DBP)

The X-Quad Engine was made in DBP

I know Game Maker doesn't let you create other game creation software, but I'm not aware of such a restriction on DBP...
