I may take a stab at this actually. The screenshot is kind of boring so it may be a bit difficult. But I might do this.

Signature's are stupid.

I would say "generic" more than boring. It is what I aimed for. It will allow you to be more creative as to how this person actually got to this point.

Sounds interesting, I might try it out later. I agree though theres no sign of well...anything there. Just a light and shadows and some holes in a wall. I don't want to sound like I'm attacking you because I'm not. Just a more interesting and illustrated screenshot would probably be a good course to take. But either way I'll probably try it out. Good luck with this mate! Have a buffet!!

There will be a total of 3 screenshots to choose from, I have sent my 3 to darimc and he will now pick the one he prefers so you may want to wait before choosing which screenie you are writing about

1. It says to say in our post which picture our story is about, so I guess we post the story here?
2. knxrb says there will be another picture. Will that be the last one?

May it please be more than 300 words? Say, 1,000? For someone who loves writing, like myself, it is quite difficult to round a story off to such a short standard.

My current, completed story is 749 words. :/

Here is mine. It is about a very mysterious building.

In the deep deep dark dark deep deep dark dark dark deep deep deep deep dark dark dark dark woods...

There was a very mysterious building.
Inside that building there was many rooms.
In one room, there laid a zombie king and queen. The king's skin
was dark brown with black spots. He had torn and dirty pants and no shirt, he also had sharp nails that were
2 inches long.

The queen's skin was green with red and yellow spot. She had dirty shorts, a dirty shirt, and sharp nails that
were 3 inches long.
One day a lost hiker found the building and entered. It was dark and really scary.
When they went to a door, they heard someone say "WHO DARES TO ENTER THE KING AND THE
QUEEN'S BUILDING!!" The hiker was frightened! And looked behind him. It was the queen.

When he saw her, he screamed and ran out and the queen missed to kill him. She told the king what had happened.
The king scolded her, then put her into prison, and asked the guards to chop her up. So they did.

Years after the king died. A couple found the building and went inside. It was dark and moldy and they went
down to the prison. And what they saw was the chopped up queen's chest, chained. And the couple quickly
got out of the building.

The end!

Okay, the third and final shot will be up in a minute. Also, the stories may be posted here but if they are more than 300 words, put them in a code snippet. The new max is 1000 words.

OK, mine was written before the changes and I don't feel like doing it again, so this is for screen shot #1.

Story removed from post and attached. Yeah, they don't format well, do they. LOL

@The Fps Creator rocks!, Is that story for the second screen shot?

@AaronG, You have a very sick mind, but a very good writing style .

EDIT: @Xplosys, Sometimes short and sweet (or disturbing), does the trick.

A story about all the screenshots. Really.

=Dark Darkness=
I was coming home from work late one night but it was so dark inside my house. Darkness all over and HoleZ in some of the walls. I looked for the light switch. There was no switch. Creepy.

Later I saw something in the dark. Darkness filed my mind. It was some dude. I chopped him up and hid some of the gore in my basement. That will come in handy.

Now I am no longer afraid of the dark but I still wonder what happened to all my light switches.

It’s so dark.

The end

Hmm... Am I being serious here?

Running my latest game superbly on FPSC and Project Blue Mod.

I really am impressed by the quality of the stories already posted. I guess I should have known that we have many creative minds here.

Title
Dream State
Screenshot
2
Word Count
316

Story (also attached)

Much like the wandering shadows that enshrouded the flaking plaster walls of her prison, the woman’s
fragile psyche was deteriorating as the hours went by and the night was killed by the morning sun. The
hypnotic sway of the chains that once restrained her weak and famished body acted like a metronome as she
lay weeping in the corner of her cell. She hadn’t been asleep for three days. The old man would not allow
it.

Hours pass as the girl struggles through a dreamless slumber. The cryptic flashbacks of what he did to
her kept her subconscious alert, and kept her out of a dream state. She was dead to the world around her,
but she could still hear the chains on the ceiling rattle as a cool breeze crept down the corridors and
seeped under the cold metal door of her cell. She could hear the faint humming of the electricity as it
passed through the rusting conductors of the only illuminated fixture in the prison. It was that dying
light that kept her sane in her new world of darkness.

The door cries on its hinges as the man pushes his way into the poor girl’s cell. The terrified woman is
shaken from her trance and opens her eyes to be greeted by a blinding light behind a blur as her tired
eyes come to focus. A man in a black coat brushes the woman’s amber hair away from her face.

“Welcome back.” The stranger says sensitively. The woman tries to scream as the man takes hold of her
wrist, but she just doesn’t have the strength anymore.

“It’s okay. You’ve been in this hospital bed for the last seven months. You’ve been in a coma. I’m just
so glad that you’re back with us. I love you, sweetie.” Her dad says with tears in his eyes.

“Everything’s going to be okay now.”
