Hey guys, as you well know Demonair (luke) made a SCAR model and has UV mapped it, i am now working with him to make a texture for it and animate it, and eventually get it into FPSC one way or another, so i thought i would show my progress, please ignore some of the low res scratches and scuffs, there seems to be a few stretches in the UV map, so i am sorting them now.

The wear on the edges is probably a little over the top, try erasing large chunks of it so it is more random rather than a large white line.

Yeah like i said it wasn't intended to look like that, but the uv map stretched it, don't worry im fixing it now.

Nice Job on the texturing . What would be cool (if you use this model in a game) is like COD4, you can use the same gun except maybe a camo applied to it, like desert, woodland, digital, etc. Just use the current texture now as an overlay to a simple camoflauge texture you make. Nice, simple, looks good, and is fun .
