Since I've had a lot of problems with BlueGUI lately I decided it was time for a more reliable GUI system. Over the last 2 days I've made a start on a GUI system coded in DBP, so no plugin will be needed to use it.

At the moment its only got a BlueGUI like Menu system where you can create menus and submenus (and submenus in submenus), although a little easier to setup than BlueGUI menus were.

The GUI style/theme is already customizable and I already have a style/theme editor (although a bit crude at the moment), which exports all of the GUI images into one .sls file. The GUI system loads all of the images it needs from the sls file so you don't have to mess around copying/pasting folders full of GUI images.

It'll eventually have all of the gadgets that BlueGUI does and more. So, if theres a gadget you think would be handy, that was never in BlueGUI, post it here.

Screenshot Attached of the menu system so far.

If you aren't already, I suggest using IanM's Matrix Utils as you can have things like callbacks when a button is clicked

@Airslide:
I might do in the future, but for now I'm going to see how far I can go with just DBP commands/functions.

Got as far as menu items being able to have icons, checked/unchecked state and dividers now. Screenshot attached.

One thing I would think would be nice is customizable themes, so you could make it look however you want.

Hi Syncaidius, your GUI is looking good. I wrote a GUI for DBPro a while back...it didnt get very much attention It probably would have if I had included an Editor - lol.
