Hi henry, yes I've seen a lot of your work, very inspiring

Your website is also a lot of help. Now that gun model of yours, the PPK, I didn't know you were basically done! I don't have that much free time (right now I'm posting from my phone) so I generally rush models. But you are very right, I've tried to spend more time on models, but with each hour that passes, I seem to get more nervous and rush a lot more. I have no reasonable idea why, drives the nerves out of me. But I'll surely try mate and will check out your texture tutorial, what program is the tutorial for? I use GIMP, but have Photoshop which although is a lot more powerful, I am most definitely not used to it.
May I see a wireframe of that model of yours; I' d like to know the typical details that should be in the model and what details should be in the texture. I like to keep my models low poly, very low as I never really figured out how much FPSC could handle (talking about guns) until one time I tried an extremely High-Poly gun which ended up spitting out an error about not being able to load a 3D object.
