hello its been a while since i posted something on here that has been made in z brush, so here is my new WIP of a goat-man, I'm working with seperate limbs, here I've started with the torso next its the legs then the arms. head for last. here is a WIP render of my torso, its 392 polies and i used the retapology tool to make it, when im done i'll post a tutorial, i want to start giving something back to fellow zbrush users on here.

And tell me what you think

model: goat-man WIP (torso)
Poly count: 392
Time taken: < 1hr

Not bad! Although for the hands there are a few size changes you should make.

1. The thumb should be bigger (wider)
2. The little finger should be much shorter.
3. The index and ring fingers should be shorter, so the hand kinda makes a point.

Other then the size issues it looks good!

Thanks for the advice guys

@azunaki
don't worry the creases/ wrinkles will be done through a displacement map later

yes but it changes the shape of the hand. if your going to make the hand that high poly you should just add the 3 major creases on the model.

Bad for anything to do with realtime as it causes major slow-down.

Your signature has been erased by a mod - Please reduce it to 600x120 maximum size

I like it. But i think there should more 'definition' between the top half, and bottom half (A small 'raise' on the bottom) because of hair or whatever.

Loving the model though, good work

Its seems too disproportionate. The model however is brilliant quality and all lovly and clean.

the bacvk is in need of definition but its looking good

lazerus@
thanks for the advice and showing me what you meant its helpful, i'll try a variation and post it here, but for now im gonna take a break and play some mass effect 2

anyway heres an update since my last post, it's a rough start on the head, tell me what you think, and remember the back of the head will have hair covering it, so any faults with it aren't reall a concern

EDIT:
just noticed the poor use of the polies round the mouth, i'll fix that tommorrow

model: goat-man WIP (head)
Poly count: 268
Time taken: < 30m
