Rules:

You are to submit a screenshot from FPSC that matches the theme for this compo.

You may:
-Use a mod for features like water, bloom, etc.
-Use a photo-manipulation program (photoshop, the GIMP, Paint.NET) to modify your entry.
-Use X10. Remember to state which yours is (x9, or x10)

You may not:
-Use a picture that you didn't create.
-Use an image from a different engine than FPSC


This Competition theme is: Sci-Fi

Entries should be in two weeks from when this was posted (April 4, 2010)

The judge is unixfr3ak. May the best screenshot win.

Prizes:

2 models from Kravenwolf's GCS account
1 free sci-fi edit of a gun by Shadowtroid (note: You must have the gun creator's permission if it didn't come with FPSC)
Over 50 huds courtesy of Metal Devil

Note: More prizes are welcome. If you offered a prize for the last competition, and would not like it in this one, simply tell me and I'll remove it.

Why? What does X10 have that X9 can't support for a screenshot competition besides water? Project Blue's full screen shaders (bloom, DOF, motion blur), bond's new world shaders, and photo manipulation is allowed

EDIT: I might actually give this one a shot when I get back from vacation. I've never tried making a sci-fi scene before; should be interesting.

I disagree. With Bond1's shaders, PB/Project Green, and numerous custom waters (why would you need those in a sci-fi contest anyways?) they're about on the same level, graphics-wise if someone can take the time for their still-shot.

EDIT: New end date is April the 4th.

Come on guys do your thing, Lets see what you can do. I agree with coach you dont need water etc, When it comes to scifi you think space etc. i wont be looking at the program that is used but the shot that is made. Detail's of what fits and what does not.

@Gorlocks a little dark is fine but you can barely see much of the screen if you read my first post on what im looking for when it comes to a screen then you wouldn't have a prob with what i asked you don't need to change it its up to the person to submit what they want that's fine it was a suggestion that's all

i call this "Dead Ship"

Some of story:
a Ship crashed in 4050 DC all passengers die... except one..you wake up in the Cryogenic chamber and you start walking...the ship is dead.

you have until the 4th so you may change/edit the picture you already upload i belieave would have to really ask coach you will need to delete the old pic on the 4th i will be looking at what is on this forum post if old pic is not deleted it will be entered as your first picture witch i think is far dont you coach?

Ooh, nice one Seko!

Here's a slight update to my previous one; added a few more entities, applied shaders, and voila:

In an abondoned factory under a post atomic war, survivors have turned it into their shelter. Yet now that the survivors have moved on, creatures begin to lurk between shadows...
