Has anyone got these to work with DBP? I was thinking about trying to re-write them with DBP code. I think this would be a good learning experience but I think I did a search on these tutorials and it was said a lot that they just won't work with DBP.

I think they would if specifically re-written with DBP code. Has anyone tried this? I am seriously thinking about doing this. Maybe I will make it a PDF and give it away to the community if it works out.

Any Comments, ideas or advice?

hay, Dragon slayer

Just noticed your location I am in Lowell, In. How about that.

Yes, they work fine for me in DBPro. Had to make a few, minor modifications. Sorry it’s been a while, don’t remember what I had to change, but it wasn’t much. I have attached lesson19 source and media. This works in DBPro update 7.4.

DBPro Upgrade 7.4 is the newest official release.

Could be an beta issue. You may want to check out the Public Test - Upgrade 7.5 thread.

Could also be an windows compatibility issue?. But I really don't think thats the case.

Couldn’t help but notice that you are new here. My advice to you would be, stick with the official release, until you know your way around DBPro.

Good luck with all your DBPro endeavors.

Lowell IN. Were almost homies! I am a truck driver. I am local and deliver steel. I have been over there a few times making deliveries. Been quite a while ago.

I did a search on these tutorials and read the posts. most said they wouldn't work with pro. So if they do I may give them a shot. Thanks for the download. I will download it just in case I get totally stuck but I don't really want to look at it because if some of the code needs to be modified to work in PRO I want to figure it out for myself.

I am so ashamed, as it turns out after going through my tutorial and source code files. I realized that I had nothing to do with converting this code. That credit goes to X_MEN and/or peerless.

DBPro, Source code for Lesson 1-27 can be found here.

Also, It looks like a tutorial for DBPro has already been done. Can't seem to locate it online anymore. So I've attached the doc file converted to pdf.
