DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / Access to windows folders

I was just wondering if there is any way to get access to windows folders in order to save a file like you would if you wer to save a file in ms word or ms paint rather than just using Open to write commands or will i have to use win32 to accomplish this

you can either buy or get blue gui to do that or if you check this thread http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=92836&b=5 there are a few plugins to do this or load the user32.dll and do it with the windows commands , i dont recommend the last its much harder .

thanks for the information that thread is very useful and has helped me find alot of dlls i never thought of using

However i am also looking for blueGUI and all of the information is from posts from over a year ago. also i cant find it and there is a post suggesting its no longer about and the free version never got released, is there any other info you know on this matter thanks

You could try the Matrix1 Utility plugin by @Ian M, it has loads of useful stuff!
