it reappears screen classic, after the start. and I call your name, click Host, and my IP address remains visible.

Use "Project Blue" as a mod.

That means you're using Project Blue, yes?
If so then PB doesn't have FPSC IP v4.0 support so it won't bypass the screens.

PB doesn't have FPSC IP v4.0 support so it won't bypass the screens, you can however use it if you aren't bothered about the screen bypass.

The FPSC IP mod doesn't but a mod with FPSC IP v4.0 support may have it.

It's up to the owners of Project Blue to add FPSC IP v4.0 support into their mod as it's specific lines of code that need to be added into the source mod to make it work with FPSC IP.

New Update

The latest version of Project Blue is now compatible with FPSC IP v4.0.
More info here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=165834&b=21&msg=2089119#m2089119

Permission has been given for me to add compatibility to the stock engine meaning once I've added the code, any of the new updates of FPSC will be compatible.

If this is so, can you now add a small update for multiplayer team death match mode because I think project blue has team death match.

knxrb, I have the newest PB V1.8C Beta, I asked this in the PB thread but I wanted to rephrase it in the actual thread it's about.

By turning on the fpscip=1 (is that how you do it?), what exactly does it do? I was told it skips the multiplayer menu, but how do I edit FPSCIP related settings? I.E. lobby, ranks, etc. Thanks in advance

Hi PW, the flag is 'usefpscip=1' and it was added by Sean to turn the menu bypassing on and off when using FPSC IP.
I'm not entirely sure why it's necessary but he wanted to add it so it's up to him

To customise the other features of FPSC IP you need to sign up for a developer's account and get FPSC IP from the developer's site: http://dev.fpscip.com
You'll then have an executable called 'FPSC IP Studio.exe' which let's you edit all the settings and build your gam with FPSC IP.

Awesome - I'll make the account now.

EDIT: Why do I need my PayPal address? I have PB, and that's what I was going to use for FPSCIP. Could you clear this up as well? Thanks.

knxrb You could do an addition in the database?

I did a test and the cash system of conjured entertrainemet fpscip works fine ... in this case it would be possible to accumulate money to buy weapons and ammunition, the only problem is that the game ended, the money disappear, why are not stored. You could put it in the next features?

@lotgd: I don't quite understand what you mean.

@pw: You need to enter your PapPal or Alertpay email so it knows when you buy FPSC IP and can activate it on your account

@soviet: I don't think I did.

The achievements show up in the chat area of the lobby after a match has been played.

-Is there a way to go and see what a user has achieved over the course of his gaming?

-also how does friend lists work? I have seen that if you right click on a name it says "Add to friends"

-And finally, I sent you back a support ticket, you can delete it. I will ask here, can you possibly tell us how to integrate the leader boards without having the URL link display leaderbaords.fpscip.com and the giant FPSC IP logo?

Thank you!

PS. I also sent in a request for the FPSC IP mod source code.

Not yet

Quote: "also how does friend lists work? I have seen that if you right click on a name it says "Add to friends""

That was included as the beginnings of something for the future
You'll see how it works in the next update.

Quote: "can you possibly tell us how to integrate the leader boards without having the URL link display leaderbaords.fpscip.com and the giant FPSC IP logo? "

If you add '&t=text' or '&t=table' to the end of the leaderboard URL then it displays the results in a different format.
They can then be used in Adobe Flash or similar to display leaderboards without the FPSC IP logo.

More info can be found on the leaderboards page of the FPSC IP Dev site.

I see, the only problem I see now is that it does not show the rank logo's this is what I get

but its all jumbled up and does not show any ranks. Thats what the user sees when he presses the button.

That is what it should display
The idea is that the first bit is the image URL of the rank image that user has, the second bit is the user's username and the third is the user's kills/rank/etc..
You need to make something in Flash or another web language like PHP to take the values and display it how you want it displayed.

Did you possibly include an example of a flash or PHP project to use for the Leader board system? because a lot of us have no clue how to code in PHP or flash.

No, I haven't tested it but I don't think it would work.

The current version will override and bypass the options menu but future versions may see a change

Sure, I will post this list in just for future references (obviously you wont be able to do it all in one update)

*DLC system
*Clan creation system
*Private clan chat
*Store system with currency that can be set up by the GM's
*Profile system (Player can see achievements and such over time)
*Possibly a example of the leader boards in an flash or something else application
*Perhaps friends list and chat if doable.
*Would like to see a system that the user can equip his guns in the lobby before game so that we don't have to throw guns all over the map and have people find them (Same basis as the store, users will have their own inventory that they can switch things as they please)
*GM's have a special color text in and out of game and can ban people

Perhaps in the future it's possible to get IP 4.0 to work with PB's team death match, like adding a radio button that asks the host if he wants death match or TDM. Thats all I have for now xD

I'm thinking of changing the GUI so it's more like modern games at the moment.
