Perhaps doing the new GUI with your new menu system? make the most use out of all of it would also allow users to change graphics settings.

knxrb,

Maybe you could add the ability for the user to design the menu themselves? I'm sure people would like the ability to do that. Maybe just an ini file with the x and y locations of the menus and things that they can toggle on and off etc, along with graphics and sounds they can change.

That way, you could program a seperate program that people can use to design the menus themselves, making FPSC IP games more unique due to the customisation. I'm sure it's not that hard to get variables from an ini file with your coding ability.

Just putting the idea out there.

You need to login to the FPSC IP Developers site and add your game in the 'Registered Games' section

I wanted to point that the lobby is very buggy, if you create many rooms remain open even if they are empty, often trying to get into a room and you end up in another.
More like another bug, often not visible in the players room, but there is, or appears 2 or 3 times the nickname of the same person.

tests done in six people, all we found the same problem.

I dont fully understand this an i used your 3.0 version with little results. Basicly every time we make a game and want it on here we have to pay for each games code? Are you serious?

Yes, this version is based on usage, so the more you use it the more you pay. So people pay for what they use of the system.
You get free unlimited test builds to get it perfect before a final build so you don't waste your key

yeah but everytime you make a new game, you have to buy a new key. So what if you buy a key and make it final and later find a bug. Basicly you have to rebuy another key.

Maybe it is so people don't make a torrent of it and make unlimited games with this program so even if they have it they can't make anything because they have to buy a key.

That would be your own fault as you get unlimited test builds to see it working before you use your build key.

No, it's a randomly generated key that let's you build a game.
Gorlock was on about how it prevents people making a torrent of the FPSC IP program.

I agree, but I think the best way to do it is, to make FPSC IP internal to the game, meaning, using his menu system that he has been doing. This would make for a great way to customize everything with ease. Not to mention it would be more realistic, and it would put that new menu system to good use. I would also allow for people to be able to change graphics from the start menu, something cool to see.

It depends if I have a copy still, if I don't then the answer is No.

I'm going to assume you're talking about FPSC IP, and the answer to that is Yes.

You simply download a zip archive, extract it and run the application.

Yes, that is correct. The idea is that you pay for what you use, so the more games you want to use with the FPSC IP system, the more you pay. Then it's fairer for everyone and means that the costs of hosting, bandwidth for each game, etc.., are covered.

You do get unlimited test builds though so you can see how it looks and check for bugs before building a final build.

I was wondering if you could supply a tutorial on how to complete a game correctly. It looked like I did everything right until when I start the multiplayer game from the lobby, it just load the FPSC normal multiplayer main menu. Is this normal? Thanks for all support you can provide. Also if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Hi, the only video I have currently is here:
http://main.fpscip.com/FPSC_IP_v4.0_-_Build_Example_Video.rar ('.rar' file with 3% recovery record.)

However it sounds like you're not using a mod compatible with FPSC IP. You need to use either the FPSC IP mod included in the FPSC IP download or Project Blue for X9 games and the Mystic Mod for X10.

Stock FPSC does not yet have FPSC IP support but is getting it in the next few weeks.

Here's the video:

You can't see much so I suggest downloading instead.
At the time of posting YouTube it was processing the video so it may still be being processed and quality may be reduced.

There is no way of 'fixing' the leaderboards or rank features how you want to.

Sorry but I am noob when it comes to all this. Can I create a single player game using fpscreator software and host it on the "file hosting" feature and then be able to offer all the achievement features for single player game play? So for instance, can my kill rankings and leadership boards be based on killing characters in my single player game and not kills of other players? Thanks for the help and time.

You can currently use it with one singleplayer level and an unlimited number of multiplayer levels.
Singleplayer campaigns are a planned future update.

Ok, Well I read some of this, but I was wondering about a custom wysiwyg menu editor maybe. but im kinda, not so good at these things, but can you edit the emblems, how many levels can you really add, and how could you make it sorta like Black Ops for the lobby looks. If you implemented a "store" and custom classes like the COD series I would be totally interested. But i dont want to be too fan boy-ish. Much appreciated. thank you.

Quote: "but can you edit the emblems"

The emblem images for rank icons and achievement icons are made by you before adding them to FPSC IP.
You can download some from the internet or make your own using a program like Photoshop or Paint.Net.

Quote: "how many levels can you really add"

You can have one singleplayer level, and an unlimited number of multiplayer levels.

Quote: "how could you make it sorta like Black Ops for the lobby looks"

There is a built in WYSIWYG editor for placing the components of the chat and lobby screens where you want stuff to go.
This means you can make it similar to COD but not identical.

Quote: "If you implemented a "store" and custom classes like the COD series"

Both of those are already planned features for the future of FPSC IP.
