Here is my first FPSC model pack: Sykos XplosiV pack. it is a pack to do with bombs and mines (hence the XplosiV). its still very much a W.I.P but here you can track all progress with the pack.

Why does that land mine have such decor to it? o.0 I mean its a land mine for crying out loud! Its not like the guy who steps on it is going to go, "Ohhh! What lovely BOOM!" haha


And I'm not sure the underwater mine needs that many triggers, perhaps every other one? Or maybe even every third?

Haha, I was just giving you a hard time. Though, I don't think you need quite so many polies to give it proper depth, perhaps just a small band down each edge between the faces?

Such as the three vertical metal bands in the middle of the crate here (I'm sure most of you have seen this pic before though sadly):

I'd bake that detail on the landmine down to a normal map though, it just seems unnecessary...

whats the polycount on the landmine? looks like a good over 400-500+? you really could get away with about 200 and less, same with underwater mine, it does look good however, but since it is for a pack, you should think about polycounts^^

i would recommend doingm ore then..

i have been modelling for 2 years and released one pack of 4 models :3 chill down a bit and take it slow ^^
