My name is Eliana Hanson, I know I went to sleep last night in my own bed. I have no idea how I got here nor do I know what that noise is but I'm seeing things I can't explain. There has to be a way out of this building. I want to go home so bad it hurts but the fear I feel deep down keeps me moving slow. What, what was that,ohhh,nooo. help me get out of this place.

This game is written in dark basic pro, the maps are made in fpsc. The rest is mine.There will be 15 long levels with many twists turns and puzzles to figure out.A well written story line with great effects.....

Looks good but you should work on the text,right now it looks totally sloppy. Also,a broken barrel,a car and camp fire in a house? I don't think so.

Looks good. I do hope the big "Ultimate Mystery" sign isn't there in the full game

if you knew the full story of the game you would know anything is possible, like in a dream world. like a mushroom chasing mario would never happen but the game sold millons. about the text, Im still working out a plan for it, thanks for looking

Daniel, looks like an excellent start.
As mentioned before, I would deffinently work on the HUDs.. I am sure it is already on your to do list though.

yea, she will do most all the moves of her to, I felt it would be cool to coppy her a little for my game as when I first started this it just felt like tomb raiders a little...

the car is inside becouse its a old building that has been abandoned and now is haunted with spirits. she has to do stuff for the goasts to please them and find out why she is there. the part where she is in is in a old war bunker that can have cars in it. as farr as the stock media, there is nothing wrong with any of it.

Just because it is an old building and haunted doesn't mean a car randomly appears there.lol Unless it is..
A.An old car manufacturing place.
B.A Garage that is beneath a house.

But as it stands, cars that appear when a building is abandoned,old and haunted, just doesn't make a Car appear, perhaps take it into consideration when designing it within the level editor you are setting up.

I did not want to say it in the begining but If I say to much about the story it gives away all the suprises for the story.I will not fully explain the car for that reason. yes you will find out little things like this in the story.lets just say in this game, anything can happen.

Thats the mistery here my friend, not just little things like the car but the whole issue of the story. if you thought about it real hard even you could come up with 100 difrent reasons why that car is there..

thanks, I will do a video today as a walk through of the first leval.I am putting together the in game movie sceans now, I want to get the timimg right for the sceans so it might not be till tamorrow. keep looking

looking good - just 2 suggestions.

I dunno if it's just FRAPS but I would advise speeding up the game a bit. Faster animations and walking speed. (and running speed, at the moment it seems like she's moving in slow-motion )

I think you should maybe look into using enhanced animations. It would help you smooth out a lot of those animation transitions (slowing to a stop etc.)

it is fraps slowing everything down plus i have like little to no memory in my laptop. but the game runs at a constant 30 frames per sec with no other programs running.as far as the animation go ill work on that in the end of development.

Looking great so far! As blobby101 said the animation does seem a little slow, but maybe that's just FRAPS. You might want to consider Timer Based Movement

shure, as soon as I have this leval done And all the little stuff in the core engine done i'll post a demo. Im practily finished with all the engine code.I have decided not to use enhanced animations as it was trully messing with my players limbs, warping them. but It should be mabey a week and ill have something playable up.
