And which future version was it discussed about? Probably a weird topic for the product chat but I've been curious for a while xD.

I'm designing a series of 3 games having the style of play progress from puzzles, intellect and survival to intense combat and sacrifice . I need to redesign some of the puzzles depending on whether an inventory system is going to be implemented within a certain period of time.

Take a look at the feature rich RPG Mod created by Flatlander and BlackFox.

I think he wants the inventory system alone Doomster. A lot of the RPG Mod's features just waste disk space on games that are centered on horror/survival and less on roleplaying (the former which tend to have no cash systems, quests, etc.)

What are you talking about? Wasting disk space? That's a new one!! We'll have you know we have successfully sold developments that are specifically Role play using RPG Mod- not one of them are horror or survival. I'm not sure where you get your information, but perhaps some research into the mod and it's functions are in order. Then you can tell me what it is and is not.

Just a casual comment before this one catches fire...
I'm using RPG Mod to help me develop commercial projects, I haven't scratched the features it offers, but the inventory, variable, write to disk and lots of other features offer a wealth of scope to the creative developer.
The support is also fantastic.

;well, I imagine that is a possible view, but not really one I'd worry about subscribing to as my view is the reverse.
Bottom line; want and Invetory? RPG Mod has a great system that is rock solid, free and works.
