Hi. i make many models for fpsc. but always i need see my folder to check my models, and need so how they look using normal maps , specular etc.. so i make make my own model viewer.

This looks like an excellent and very useful tool! I wish I knew (or had the time to learn) DarkBasic. Then I could work with the file extensions that FPSC uses, like x and dds. VisualBasic is severely limited in this area.

Will it accept command line options and will there be a free version I can add to some of my free programs?

i searched on the internet. and could never find a decent model viewer for fpsc...if this is a finished product how much will it cost and how soon can i download it...

Just played with this for a minute but did not get any FPSC models to load with textures. I assume the models must have the texture assigned "in the x file" for them to show up textured?

This format only have colormap, if you add other map this goin to look white(no textured).

this beta search last extension of texture.
modelname_D.dds or bmp or png etc..
modelname_D2.dds or bmp or png etc..
modelname_N.dds or bmp or png etc..
modelname_I.dds or bmp or png etc..
modelname_S.dds or bmp or png etc..
etc...
but modelname and texturemane need be the same..
.X file no have data about Normals or specular only colormap (in general).

for now in the actual version (2 hours ago) you can add textures to loaded model.

now i try to processes fp3 file to get principal _D or D2 texture..

and please, you can send me your comments to my mail.. remember your are beta tester..

yes.

but have this in mind.
if you have shaders in fpsc off only you can see the color texture in your model.
if you have shaders on you can see normals, specular etc..

is the same in this program, you can turn on shader or not
(bumpmap.fx)
But need the _D _N _S textures...

Hi that guy jhon.. this is old problem in w7, but not just this file
Msvcp71.dll and Msvcr71.dll there are some missing dll..
(you have updated your original windows7?)

The msvcp71.dll is a module containing link libraries of instructions to the "Microsoft Runtime C Library". The msvcp71.dll file is used by most of the programs compiled in C or C++ source code. The msvcp71.dll file provides routines for programming applications for "Microsoft Windows" up to "Windows Xp". These routines constitute a significant improvement to earlier programming routines.

The most common occurring error messages caused by problems with msvcp71.dll:

• "Msvcp71.dll Not Found."

• "Cannot find [PATH]\msvcp71.dll."

• "The file msvcp71.dll is missing."

Just tried again, now it works...
All I did between then and now was install Microsoft Expression Web and PS (setting up a new laptop), maybe the dll was included with it or in the SP update for it after install.

Works fine for me so far but I have problems with navigating through folders for media with the narrow menu graphics etc, I keep closing the window when I try to pull down a menu and scrolling aint happening for me.
If this were more user practical and less eye candy, I would definately pay for it, its a nice concept.
It also seems unable to handle the newer shaders from mp52, so I am guessing you started before the new blosser shaders were introduced, I have still to fully test all the shaders in this however.

Hi rolfy.. you have reason, now i work in navigation scrolls and other things..
this is not a compressed executable so
the shaders you can change in media/shaders/ folder..
Backgrounds in media/backgrounds/
skin in media/skin/
etc..
now i finish this
+ Hard drive selection OK
+ Better browser OK
+ Shaders and lights (i try to keep in fpsc style) OK
+ fpe file inspector (in develop)
+ Icon maker
