*Facepalm*

It's a show made for girls. It just happened to be surprisingly good from a male perspective too, for most people.

For some people.

You'd be surprised at how well other forums took to it. I guess TGC is too stereotypically manly.

A powerful pony who wanted to rule "aquestria", defeated by the powers of harmony and imprisoned in the moon.

Equestria, as in equestrian, (meaning ponies, donkeys 'n' such.) It's a small play on words.

It's like Marmite, you either find them very endearing, or are completely put off by the happy nature and upbeatness of it all.

Like I said, it's surprisingly good for something considered for a female demographic. The studio basically stripped out everything and started again, with more of a "family oriented" type thing, so it's not as chinsy and unbearable for parents too.

Chip n'Dale Rescue Rangers is better, and so is Duck Tales... oh and Gummi Bears, they bounced here and there and everywhere you know! In fact I would go so far as to say that ALL the cartoons I watched when growing up, are, in my opinion, better than the cartoons that have been made recently.

I did notice for a while now this catroon for some reason slowly taking over the internet. But i never expected it to reach this dark and frightning corner of the internet... I am getting curios about this cartoon. I mean it has to be something if it forced coffeegrunt to make it into his avatar and sig lol. Whon knows maybe soon everyone will have a pink pony avatar and sig on these forums lol.
Quote: "I enjoyed the Powerpuff Girls, regardless of how girly it was"
I, also liked powder puff girls but i wouldnt even call it very girly, It was pretty violent actually, lots of fighting and cutting off of lims of monsters and they even had blood here and there.
I have the feeling that i am gonna like this.... i just hope noone will find out lol

It is something. For the record, I don't normally watch girl's cartoons, but when I do, I watch my Little Pony.

And you should see the forum for the Minecraft server I play on. I come on saying how good the show was, then bronies just came outta the woodwork.

It's similarly like that sometimes, although with no blood and dismemberment.

!!!!!! Magic telepathic unicorns with PSYCIC POWERS!!! Evil insane darkness god unicorn trying to take over the world!
Pink girly ponies aside this show IS GOOD!!! I know a mod said something about modern cartoons sucking but as far as my opinion goes, This show seemes to be BETTER than most modern cartoons! I cant believe how good this show is! its hard to believe that a girly show about pink magical unicorn ponies can be this good! (i gotta admit that their unicorn magic is pretty awesome)

I think if PAGAN's comment doesn't sell it, I don't know what will.

Now all it needs is lasers and a doomsday device.

God, I really wish I had me a doomsday device.

The show has, like Pina Colada, a slight, barely noteable sexual aftertaste.

Maybe its the voice acting that features happy feminine english voices I only know from explicit movies or all the pink'ness going on here.
Maybe its just a spoiled illusion caused by the degenerated mass media they try to feed me everyday (where I win almost always...however, I was unable to get past Justin Bieber

But yeah! Humanity needed a show about ponys that like each other become friends and everybody cuddles!!

(>^.^)> <(^.^< )

I for one could use some cuddling aswell... innocent cuddling without any inevitable bittersweet romance that will break my heart...

Maybe I should get some sleep and pull myself together again.

I love the show, it's awesome. But after... searching myself, I have found one of my true passions (second to Batman) is mythology. And one thing that ticks me off every time is when they call something a unicorn, and it is a horse with a horn and wings. This isn't anything, for a horse with a horn is a unicorn and a horse with wings is a pegasus. There is no pegacorn or unipus. This doesn't make the show bad, but I'm kind of mad at them for that. There's more important unicorn/pegasus debates to do. Like if there is one or multiple pegasi. Firefox and work make you capitalize it, therefore it's proper and singular. But world of Warcraft, dungeons and Dragons, and various other shows, games, movies, etc., say there are multiple. I'm rambling. The point is thank you for showing me that, I enjoyed it.

Some where ponies, some were unicorns, some were pegasi. The princesses (The main one and Luna) have wings and a horn, which is neither.

On episode 4, Applejack says "I'm Applejack, remember? The most loyal and hardworkin' pony in Ponyville!"

One comment quotes that and says "Rainbowdash called and wants her Element of Harmony back.

I personally think that Episodes 1 and 2 were made after the rest of the series. Also notice they're not wearing their necklaces in episode 3.
