I cracked up when the teacher told 'Snowblind' that they were waiting outside with snowballs in the FiW episode.

Edit: HAHAHAHA! That Babs Seed parody is legendary!

I believe it will not be the final version. Also I hate that it does not save progress/unlockables. Like in japanese games, everything you get in the game, including secret scenes etc, could be later seen in the gallery in main menu, but "more bull...t" secrets can be seen only when beating the game, and some scenes are just in game (like Trixie's third scene). And some are just... Big Mac.

Also I have encountered some bugs with animation and music

Even at Comicon here I never met many bronies. I got a pic of a Vinyl Scratch, though.

Is it weird if I find someone cosplaying one of my favourite ponies really hot? She also had an arm with a built in iPod that shot wubs.

Not weird.

Then again, I've had my fair share of the furry fandom, r34 fandom, brony fandom, and horses, does that invalidate my opinion?

Okay, furry fandom I am familiar with, same goes for brony fandom... but r34 fandom? A fandom about everything? (Or more exactly about pr0n of anything, but I feel like a discussion about that might not be the best idea here )
I can't imagine how there would be a fandom for that.
Also, did you just put 'horses' into the context of things that you (or anyone else) consider hot? D:
If that's the case, err, well..... may I refer you to mrHandy's post.

And to Coffee's original question: Well, was the combination of person & cosplay hot? Or would you consider anyone hot as long as they happen to cosplay Vinyl, like for example if it was... a horse? (Or a really ugly fat neckbeard brony, unless that happens to be one of your fetishes )

r34 fandom does not exist. r34 fandom is are people that want to see a certain characters naked, and all other characters not.

Excuse the lag, my PC is terrible.

Basically something I'm working on for Doom (you may notice that the camera moves with the mouse but the character does not, that was like the biggest hack I've ever used)

The model is from PonyCraft: Tainted Skies so I can't release it or anything without permission.

I am genuinely considering making it a full-blown project designed for people to make custom maps, playable fanfiction etc easily.

Please do! Then I wouldn't feel so lonely whilst working on PonyCraft anymore, knowing that I'm not the only one overrun by the pony madness!

One issue is that I don't have any 3D models that I'm allowed to use. Do you know of any places that have fully-animated, free-to-use 3D models of the mane six? Since I'd rather not rip models out of your game.

EDIT: Heh, that was easy. For the first time I actually got a model to show up in GZDoom Builder (Doom map editor)

Well, I suggest using other people's models for now, and really just work on game play and game mechanics. Once your game is working and ready, that's when you invest time to polish the game.

One of the biggest mistakes I did with PonyCraft was exactly that: Getting artists to work on assets that can't be implemented yet. It might take a week or two to make and animate a good 3D pony model, but it takes months to implement it into the game, so my advice is to use placeholders until the time is right. I know it can be tempting, but you have to resist the urge, otherwise your game will be overrun by artists working on assets, but have no playable content.

When you feel the time is right, you go on youtube, or you search for portfolios of 3D modelers through google, and you write them an e-mail with a request for what you want. The e-mail should be professional, you should include everything you can about your game (screen shots, video footage), and you need to give them a good reason why they should invest their valuable time into making pony material for you. This applies for all media content, not just models.

Sadly Friendship doesn't pay the Game Dev bills, kiddies! How's Ponycraft going by the way, Alex?

Also, here's the Vinyl I met at MCM London I mentioned:

I added basic melee combat and crouching to Twilight. She can now pick up and use keys properly too. Sadly though, since I changed the movement code to allow for more varied speeds, it's all glitched. Time for hours of messing around only to find that the solution is extremely simple... EDIT: Eeyup. Fixed. It was extremely simple.

Oh, and you can zoom in and out with the mousewheel too.

I actually tried to replace the zombie hand with Twilight's hoof, and replace the "Zombie" text with "Zombrony", but it didn't turn out very well.

Anyone seen this? It's some guy that is fed up with the MLP nonsense and he decided to burn a horse to death in protest. Thanks guys.

Mod Edit: Please no burned animal corpse photos. Next time slaps will follow ok?

Maybe next time you could obsess over a TV show that isn't designed for adolescent girls, and then we wouldn't have this mess.

I really hope you're joking. Horses are wonderful creatures; what would drive someone to burn a horse I don't know.

Btw ponies are gay. They are like horses for sissies.

That's messed up I agree. That said, it was probably a dead horse that someone burned. Who burns a live horse? Source?

Also, it's not the fact that it's grown men watching adolescent girls shows that's particularly disturbing. It's that the majority of the bronies get some sort of sexual satisfaction out of this show. You cannot dispute this claim. Just read the posts here and look at all the sexual pictures thrown up.

Wait, so we're letting the guy threaten that horses are being burned alive because of bronies, then calling the bronies the mentally unstable ones?

I mean, let me reiterate: the guy threatening to burn horses alive...

Not that I care too much anymore, but it's still irritating to find 12 year olds deliberately seeking out bronies to insult them ineffectively.

@Seditious

There's really no need to go and make up scary stories like that in an attempt to make people feel ashamed of being in a fandom.

You are the sick person in this situation, and should be ashamed of yourself.

Good try there comet, except that picture as far as I can tell is spread by bronies and usually attached to some silly and meme-inspired quotes. Do an image search on it and see for yourself.

I feel so ashamed. Oh wait I'm not the one that labels myself as part of a group of people that worships a little girl's TV show. I don't have the original source for that image; it was a friend that showed me.

In any case, you should be the one ashamed. Labelling yourself for some silly TV program when there are minorities stereotyped all across the world and discriminated against.

It's not even that. I can get behind little kids cartoons like Pinky and the Brain, SpongeBob Squarepants. And I like adult cartoons too like Home Movies. MLP is shallow. As in there is no depth whatsoever to hold an adult's attention. The only way someone could enjoy that show is if they have some sort of fetish or are somehow capable of finding extremely simple and one-dimensional morality stories interesting.

I suspect it's the former.

I'll be honest, I don't even want to go there. It's clear from the vast majority of pictures posted here that the obsession stems (perhaps subconsciously) from a sexual element, which would be fine if it was a TV show whose characters were portrayed by real, human people. Not cartoon horses. In fact I'm done, I don't want to see this thread anymore. If anyone wants to create a fandom for a more popular show such as Lost then I'm all for it, but I guess there isn't that sexual element there.

What's the problem though? You have a pizza for an avatar... atleast i think it'¨s a pizza.

Seriously - what's the problem with that? Is it now also forbidden for me to wear pink shirts, because it's a female color? Or maybe i'm not allowed to have my hair in a ponytail anymore - because girls do it. Dangit, gotta get rid of all my yellow pens - can't have that.

Who said it's a female colour? That's stereotyping.

Quote: "Or maybe i'm not allowed to have my hair in a ponytail anymore"

Again, stereotyping.

Don't take this the wrong way, I just think the practise you guys engage in is unhealthy, and I sure hope you don't encourage your children to do the same.
