@Anayar, it's awesome! About the hands, mp6 or cyborg art's hands.

@VENT, wow, that looks very cool! Sure, i was thinking of having alternative textures in a folder.

I think the textures really, set it off, I was once told by a former member of the forums, that a high poly model is worthless without the right texture, But a low poly model with the right texture is priceless.

@vent how is that a dual 12 gauge, it only has a single barrel ......lol Judging by the model it's a semi auto.

The scratches seem too random; if they went more with the direction of the swing path, that the axe would follow, I think it might look better.

The yellow painted metal and the handle look great though!

Damn... I wish I had read that comment while I was texturing Its a bit too late now to change that as I didnt save the source for the model Hope it doesnt look as bad in-game though

Quote: "nice job on the axe Anayar "

Thanks Henry! Your transformer looks awesome ! BTW, Ive always wanted to ask you... is this what you do? As in, are you a professional CG artist?

And Speaking of In-Game:
Fire Axe rigged:

Let me know of any changes that you think should be made to the rig. Also, do you want me to edit the hand texture J Swain? Currently I am using the one by Cyborg Art

Crit is welcome

Anayar

@Henry Ham, great!

@Anayar, wow! Very good! About the hands, add gloves to them. Also, make an alternative texture with desert camo jacket and fingerless gloves.

My neighbour told me about how he used to put shotgun shells in between tree branches that make a Y shape and hit them with a hammer. Not that effective, or safe... At all, but I figured it might be fun to make. So I put the shell between a piece of wood and called in an improvised shotgun.

@VENT, Uh, what? XD Wierd weapon. But i like it. Maybe you should make the hammer seperate, so through the first quarter of the game you only use the hammer, then you will get that wood and start shooting people with it.

@Anayar, neat lamp... i mean; weapon.

@anayar

Do you want to send your axe model to me and I will see what i can do with the texture?

I learnt how to play with textures before i learnt how to model.

I'm not saying it will be good or better, just saying i can take a look at it if you want?

Email the details over if you want mate. I could do a few variations, Clean, domestic, industrial, bloody! (we all like the bloody one)

Sure. Mail sent.

Note that I havent played with the hand texture any... the texture is what Cyborg Art provides with his weapon.

Anayar

Here's my progress on this weapon. I think I have some decent animations that'll work with this gun, so I can do it myself.

Great everybody! It feels good to wake up and see this.

@Anayar, thanks! But what about pickups?

Oh, what about a fire extinguisher to use as a melee weapon.

@VENT, very nice! Can't wait to see your weapons in action.

@3Bit, thanks for making that awesome banner.

@Henry Ham, are you finished with the transformer? Can you send em over?

Nice work! I can't imagine the fun with the airmod in that improvised shotgun.

Keep up the fantastic work. I hope I can contribute with any model soon.

I didn't like the messed up uvw-map i made for the barrel. I understand why it was so messy, it was after all my first uvw textured model ever.

So i remade the barrel's uvw-map and made a texture and it turned out like this:
