Alright, time for judging! I hope, everyone's OK with his rating.
Quick and dirty - The winner and runner up:
Winner(s): The Fox's
Runner up: Rolfy
OK, now on to the rating itself.
Bestorio:
This shot has potential, but there are some strange things about it. As it seems, there are cables hanging out of the wall. I don't think, that cables still hang in the hole, while the car blows a hole into the wall. The motion-blur makes it really intense, but then the atmosphere ruins it a bit. When a hurricane appears, it's raining, bad weather and so on. As your picture is titled "Moment of impact", I assume that it's just the moment, where the car hits the building.
The Fox's:
My favorite picture. Not because I like snow.

For me, this picture really shows a really tragic disaster, that mother nature has sent to us. The shot is pretty good, but there are two flaws in the map itself: At the right of the picture you can see the end of the terrain - looks a little strange. Also there doesn't seem to be snow on some of the buildings. Sure, it's a little work to retexture everything, but that's not a big deal. The atmosphere is good and that's what counts.
Leongamerz:
That's a pretty nice shot, too. Like in Bestorio's screenshot, there are a few strange things. How is the street lamp so clean, compared to the rest? A clean-cut tree log in the middle of the street? The colors are OK, the bloom might be a little bit too much, the slight fog gives it a little more "mystery"-like atmosphere. You could also have worked on the glowing and flat grass. There are a few ways to make such things look good. For example not using sprites.
Northern:
I'm very sorry. I don't know what I don't like on that screenshot. Whether it be the perfectly round wave and it's mirrored texutre, or the skyscrapers, that aren't nearly as big as the street and even smaller than trees, or the people who all have the same position. All that points wouldn't really count, if the good weather wouldn't ruin the whole atmosphere. With such a colorful shot, the dramatic thing about the Tsunami isn't really visible.
Rolfy:
The Hurricane looks pretty good, although it could have used some particles around it. It just looks too clean. Also there again seems to be too good weather for it. I see, it's cloudy, but the skybox seems to be a little bit "not fitting" the Hurricane itself. There wouldn't be any holes in the clouds, that let the sunlight through. At least you used that to produce some pretty nice shadows of the debris, the Hurricane took. When I look at the houses, I only notice that the road ends right behind the second house on the right. A cow in the whirlwild would have made it.
The Zoq2:
OK, what do we have here?... The screenshot size doesn't fit the rules, it's 800x600, not 1024x768. With the rescaling, you could've made it a little better with some kind of "antialising" from the rescaling.

Anyway, the shot looks solid, the sleeping bag seems to be floating. You might turn up the lightmapping settings next time. The lamp is completely clean, the kitchen is not complete, the two planks at the window are clipping through each other and the walls. The "Blizzard" doesn't really seem to be such a strong one - it's barely snowing outside!
OK, that's it! On to the next competition!
Greetings,
Jan
