Ok i returned to work....
Now i completed the Tic Tac Toe AI and i'm about to port my Video Poker to the Hackers Online's minigames.

Next stage are :
- Black Jack
- Horse race
- Missions check

and after those the game is about to be ready.

I will post a video as soon as i can.
Wow i have much things to complete !!!!

Ok i'm uploading the video with minigames inside.
Now the last thing that i need to program is the mission check and some missions.
The Black jack will be done on the first update.

Cause every user can hack other user.
So you need antivirus, scan, remove.... and all the things you need to hack.
Now i'm coding the last part.

I've done the first part to give as much as possible a real OS.
With some minigames to lose time and win or lose GG Coins (in app) and exp & lvls.
You can also post on Facebook from here!!! ahaha
Listen music while hacking, and the rest.

Now come the hard part.
The missions and hacking.
Ah, i've also added the Hardware power input to do a studied hardware shop.
So if you have a 250W power supply, on upper levels you will not able to activate new hardware until you get the new power supply.



I've just completed the Notifications when you are "Under hacker attack!" ahaha.
When you are attacked, based on the virus / trojan send from the hacker he can:
- Keylog you
- Del some files
- Destroy your hard disk
and much other things....

Well, as i always repeat, the order selection of games i do, is not casual.
After this game, will be immediately published 4/5 utility, like the SSH terminal (with the same engine) and the Notepad with speech reading.

I think if users get bored to hack others, can use it as a real os.

Exciting ! Minigames look good. This is definitely a game with a niche market but I hope it catches on and does well. Can't wait for you to release it!!

Yes the goal is to test the market for GG Coins and prepare the engine and the database for much other games.
We can say it's a test and a good utility with minigames.

Thanks xGEKKOx, that's done the trick! As I say, this is looking really well developed and polished and I can't wait to give it a try.

You've got a lot of good content there but I guess the main challenge will be making the hacking sufficiently fun. Have you worked out how the hacking is going to work yet? Are the players going to need to know established hacking techniques to be able to play? I wonder, how freeform is the hacking going to be or are there going to be set hacks that you have built into the game for them to "exploit"?

Well, as it is a simulations, some commands will bi completely simulated :
- Connecting....
- Sending virus / trojan
- Intercepting...

So the speed of those commands will be based only on the hardware you bought.
So if i'm level 5 and i wanna hack you, if you are level 10 and you have bought a firewall or antivirus, you will be only noticed that someone is trying to hack you.

Else, if you are weak on an attack, a file (if a virus) or a trojan, will be randomly loacted in one of your folders. So you need to go and discover it and delete it.
If the file is in the autoexec, you need also to remove from there.

Well, if it was a complete simulation, it would be more easy to develope. But i decided to do it as a real os, to use when you get bored of the game.
So this make the mission creation more hard, because you need much fantasy.

Finally is also experimental (as FREE with Coins) and i developed it in a way i can add mission in the database without sending updates to Apple. So if no big modifications are needed i can get some time to test the Coins thing.
If this thing go well, i will continue to develope it and update it.
I'm testing the missions, and i must say that is funny.
Who love the consoles and terminal will sure download it.

Lol boys, the game is about complete, i'm debugging it since 5 days.
I had fear it was a stupidity, but when i played it from the begin, i had much fun!!!
And i am very happy.

I will upload the final video soon, that will be also the video for tutorial for first 5 levels.
Now i go on vacation for 2 days!!! I deserve it!!!


Edit : I also added the multiplayer (turn based) in tic tac toe minigame. The multiplayer is based on room on my server and is not by game center.

Wow very hard work since some days...
Developing missions is very frustrating to me, cause i get bored soon ahahaha.
Anyway i will release it in some days, and i will add some missions after the release, as i add them on the database.
I done a multi check inside the game to have different kind of missions.
In this way i don't need to update the binary file every time i add missions.

Added the last icons to the icon bar to notify viruses or trojan and the buttons for the item mall.

Those are the lastest 2 screen before i add the last icon and i publish the game.

Well, i always search for news about earning on android and windows on internet, but i always find bad news due to cracking software.

The reviewer rejected again my app telling some things out of the world!!!

1) External keyboard now works great (the tab key is impossible to check)
2) GG Coins button crashed cause they blocked in apps (now i unlocked them)
3) Other buttons are notify icons (buttons are only 2, the grey ones)

Is this reviewer stupid or he is kidding me????
I done another appeal, and this time i will never surrender till they accept my app.
I start to get bored!!!!!!

Ahaha yes xCept, i also added the placeholder in thext field "Command line..." instead of only "..." to let he understand. Ahahaha, is very frustrating.

And i don't think they have the copyright on the green letter effect.

What do you think?

I asked them to change only the icon if they really need i remove this copyrights infringements.

Now they're just giving you a hard time . There are probably thousands of "Matrix" styled apps on iTunes right now that are WAY more similar to that film than your app or icon ever could be. I don't think they can possibly claim your app features content from The Matrix just because of its icon and retro terminal style.

Here's one app that is called Matrix Code Camera with all the green text effects etc.

Another called Matrix Decoded.

Another called Real World Ascii.

If it is the icon they are complaining about, you'll probably still have to reupload it with a new icon of some kind as Apple won't change it themselves. (But look at the icons of some of the apps I mentioned above, Apple had no problem with them).

It highly frustrates me when Apple is completely inconsistent in following their own rules when approving apps!! They need better reviewers

Wow boys!!!!! The incredible story continue.....
They rejected again!!!

The reviewer changed again as i see from the log in the server, and he said the exactly same word of the first reviewer!!!!!
Absurde!!!!!
This time i appealed again and sent also a express review request and a message.
I'm bombing the Apple staff with emails.
I don't understand they are doing this.
Maybe they don't want my game published?
Or the reviewer is always a stupid??????

I start to think that i can add an Alert View only visible to a reviewer (i know their LAN IP from the server) and i will show an alert with this:

REVIEWER ALERT:
YOU ARE CLICKING ON AN ICON, THIS IS NOT A BUTTON!!!!!
DO YOU EVER SEEN THE ON/OFF LED????? THIS IS THE SAME!!!!!

Unbelievable! Didn't the last reviewer say "the original rejection feedback is invalid." so why would the reject it again for those same "invalid" reasons? I'm frustrated just waiting so many weeks, I can only imagine how angry you are. This doesn't make any sense, sorry...

Sadly, im assuming that app reviewer is a job that requires a low amount of experience and they probably have no idea how to use a console at all.

Yes i'm very very angry.
I can accept the reason of "The Matrix" film, but not the same again from the first rejection, after the "the original rejection feedback is invalid".
Anyway i try to be calm and wait till the end of this bad adventure.
Now i wanna see what happen after i done the expedited review + the appeal + continue communication.
Ahahah, i'm in war!!!

Congrats!

I downloaded it, but it crashes at different points and I couldn't do much. I was playing Poker and it crashed (so I couldn't cash out what I had won). After I perform "userlist" the keyboard is always over the command line so I can't see what I'm typing, and each letter I type replaces what I've already typed and starts the animation again so it takes a long time to type out commands. When I try to connect to any IP the app also crashes. Finally, the fact that each directory is case sensitive can make it more tedious to navigate (e.g., "cd games" does not work but "cd Games" does).

Yes, ahahah.
Hack Online was attacked by hackers.
They found an hole in the server, but i done backup before launch it ahahah.
I knew there was the possibility to forgot something.
Now i isolated the hack online service under another user so if they delete something, they delete 1Mb of files and i upload immediately.

Also done some fix in the update i already submitted:
- Connect fix
- Facebook invite fix

The game is downloading very much, even the problems.
And i think i will give it for free without in app, cause today i discovered a FAIL in the in app system.
I will do a new thread for this bug on in app from Apple.

And i will donate GGCoins with facebook invitation each 30 min.
Well, as it was a test, i think is going about well.

The name "Hack Online" download very much, the iAd is really going to the stars, the users say that the game is original and maybe will wait we update it (also as it is free).

We will see!!!

The game is going great, the users appreciate it even if has bugs.
They said that nobody done a real OS in a game so it's nice.

Thx, well first of all, is a satisfaction that the users don't give bad review but are helping me do develop and debug.
The money are coming from the iAD in a big wave.
When Apple will review the 1.2 update, the hack on the IN APP Purchase will be fixed and i will see if the in app will pay too.
