AppGameKit Classic Chat / Old project T2 windows resolution problem

I have a project from February that I picked up again. When I run the exe file it looks fine but when I open up the project in vs and compile, then run it, everything shrinks. I don't change any code or make any other changes. Anyone come across this problem?

Attached is the project. Unzip it, run the exe file, this will show how it should look. Now open up the vs project, compile and run it. That should should be the shrink project.

are you still using the same AppGameKit version you used in February or you upgraded to the latest 108?

VS2010 doesn't want to run your project for me but I skimmed over the code and it looks like you commented out setting a virtual resolution in app::Begin(). Do you mean to use the percentage system?

@bjadams. Im using the v106 i believe. Should I upgrade to the 108?

gsdblack, unless you really need some of the 3D stuff, don't upgrade to v1085. v108 is still in beta.

AL why not? 1085 works really well on Windows. I did not come across 1 single problem for 2d commands

Don't know about the other platforms though

There have been some things (like edit boxes) that don't work properly in v108 but do in v1076.

But, if everything works in your app fine, then no problem.

i don't use edit boxes. that's why all works then!!

AL, did you try 108x on ios and android? any big problems there?

I've only done the core Tier 2 templates, and not for all versions. So I don't know if there are any issues.

My current project has no need for any of the 'new' stuff in v108, so I'm finishing it with something that I know works properly.

i'm only using 2d too, and mostly commands from 107. i think i will try 3d at the end of 2013 so hopefully by that time the commands will be ace!
