Anyway i can share one of my experiences...
Until September/October 2012 the old Apple Store on iphone/ipod and ipad made all developers could sell in an average mode.
As i have 2 years of graphics statistics i see immediately the difference when they released iOS 6.
If before the download was basically linear, now they are crazy, like the electrocardiogram.
But even if i have 50 applications now, i always see a flat push from apple.
I start to think that Apple have a new formula for the ranking, i mean....
Suppose i earned 100$ average with 15 apps, when i reached 25 apps i reached 120$
but when i reached 30/45 they flatted me to 120/140
This is only an example, but i hope you understand what i mean.
Seems there is a thing that make you earn much only if they like your game or your app.
