Just wondering, is there a way to switch between full screen and window mode in windows while your app is running?

In Windows XP/7, you double click on the Window header and it should flip between full and windowed, if the program allows it.

I haven't played with the full screen setting in AGK. But programs I've built with it respond to the double click in the header.

That just maximizes the window. It's the same as using the maximize button.

Double clicking in Windows 7 and Windows XP on a maximized (full screen) window title also puts it back to non - full screen.

What is the difference between 'maximized' and 'full screen'?

Mark, did you mean being able to change within the program code?

Maximize stretches the window to the edge of the screen but preserves the chrome (borders) and taskbar. Fullscreen takes over the desktop and presents the app exclusively, and in AppGameKit it also overrides the set resolution from setup.agc with the user's native desktop resolution.

You should try the fullscreen flag in setup.agc

The tearing was fixed in 108.19 but it now runs very choppy on my laptop so I don't use fullscreen

OpenGL appears to be rubbish at full-screen mode. DX does it properly.

DA, mostly I don't work in Tier 1. I only test things in it in my capacity as a Community Tester (and I have 16 different versions of AppGameKit installed, maybe it's time to uninstall a bunch of the 108 betas). And full screen on my 22" monitors is a bit much. But I should try it just to see.

Wow such a response, yeah I meant using code, windowed to full screen without the header. I'm trying to do something that i could have maximise on two monitors at once(not mirrored) on the same computer. I don't think I can do that with one app, so I'm thinking of having 2 apps being able to switch to full screen and being controlled by an ios or android device.

DA, thank you. I just like to help and have the resources to do some of the testing needed.

I have three computers with dual monitors (I like a lot of real estate to open editors, browsers, and lots of stuff at one time).

Unless you plan your graphics for working in a dual width type space like that, a full screen spanning two monitors might not look or play right.

And, I for one, really don't want any one program taking up both of my monitors like that. It is sort of one of the reasons I have multiple monitors.
