hello

I thought for myself of a feature that could potentially push everyone novice or advanced towards 3d worlds inside AGK.
and also to open a post about it cause not everyone are going into the feature request thread to see what people think about it.

for along time me and others are trying to figure out shaders
but it get messy in many fashions from coding the shader to actually make it work to actually get the right result that you want , yes , it is hard very hard I think it is the hardest part in AGK.

so what I was thinking
what a bout a full world shaders?

meaning :
you get an Example Map
with Clouds
Sky
Sun
Shadows - real time
Gloss
Normal
Specular
Ripple - for Water
etc...

everything that is needed in one project or add on .
I know its a long shot and its probably very hard to create a decent and explained tutorial about all of these.
the proper use of SetObjectImage from 0 stage to 7...
maybe TGC should add a semi member just for the shader part so we all will know how to use them and how to use them together and correctly...

I know its keeping me back from achieving greatness
and I do think , that one good explained world will be so beneficial for all of us here , please think about it .

So an AppGameKit version of Evolved's DBPro Advanced Lighting shader system? Perhaps Evolved's system will work in AppGameKit?

Maybe I or someone else will at some point when AGK2's command set matures. With how good Evolved's shaders are, I doubt it will remain DBPro only.

Hi,

I like the idea
And i could contribute a Lighting shader with Normalmapping, specular highlighting and Illuminationmapping, if there are more contributors
Example of it: https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/215869

would be: Advanced Lighting system for AGKv2 made by Community

Using AGKv2 Tier1
