Why the long title? Partially because I'm trying to see if the forum software has a limit on title length, partially because I believe the presidential election is important and I want threads thereof to be noticed. And, of course, partially for humorous reasons.

Anyway, this thread shall serve as a location for forum members to cast their votes for forum president. Because activity is low and (to my knowledge) The Slayer and myself are the only valid ticket, let's keep this thread and election running for half a month, which is until the 15th. Each member may vote for one ticket*, including themselves if they so choose. It's preferred that you don't edit your post. Out of necessity, feel free to vote for tickets that are created even while this thread is open. I will produce and frequently update a board showing the election's status. Once the 16th strikes, the votes shall be tallied and the new forum presidential team shall be determined.

It's a close one right now folks!

In case of a tie, we implement super crazy tie procedure. Vice president of each party shall meet face to face in an epic thumb war. The loser then gets to select which of the two party presidents shall become president, while the winner then gets to select which of the two party presidents gets to select which of the two party vice presidents gets to be vice president.

*A ticket comprises an individual who has announced both their candidacy and a running vice presidential mate.

Ha! He probably doesn't want it but I'll second a vote for green gandalf. The guy has always been one of the nicest, skilled, and most helpful members on here.

I don't think those votes are valid, as he never announced his candidacy nor announced a vice president. Feel free to create your own tickets or contact him or encourage him to create a ticket, though.

The votes are in! Myself and The Slayer received 4 votes while TheComet received 3 votes. I counted the votes for Green Gandalf as well, who got 2 votes.
