AppGameKit Classic Chat / Not detecting quick taps near screen edges, but only on iOS devices?

Hi all, just checking to see if anyone else is experiencing this... When I run my app on iOS devices (both broadcast and compiled apps) it has trouble recognising any quick taps near the edges of the screen. Anywhere else it's fine, but if I have buttons near the edge I have to really tap and hold to get the tap to take. The same code running on Android devices works just fine.

Am I alone in this?

I also have this issue with my latest game - exact same issue. Buttons positioned at the bottom of the screen need a long press for them to be registered.

I think it may be a SetScissor issue - Paul can you investigate please?

I have no setscissor in my program. Like I said in my original post on the newcomers section (sorry I should have posted here) the problem only started when I updated to ios11 so I tried my program on my iPad which is still at ios9 and it works fine so it’s clearly an ios11 issue.

OK, thanks Doveyy04.

Other [non-AGK2] apps on my iPhone work fine, the buttons at the bottom of the screen in the Facebook app, for example, are registered straight away when pressed.

If Paul takes a look there may be something he can adapt or fix...

Could this just be an issue with apple's hardware/screen and not agk?

If it was affecting other apps I'd say it was possible. However, other apps are working fine.

I overlooked this thread when I created my own bug report some time ago. I have a temporary solution that tracks GetRawTouchCount(1) on touch end, but this does not help with touch began in those areas. Glad to hear it may be fixed by next version!
