Hello all,

I'm very close to releasing first STEAM game using AppGameKit Classic. I'm wondering if anyone has created an EULA separate from any default Steam EULAs. Also is there any wording AppGameKit requires in an EULA?

Any idea / responses appreciated.

Thanks

AGK doesn't require a EULA or anything. They do, however, ask that you put "Made with AppGameKit" or the AppGameKit logo in the title or credits screen.

If you, personally, need to do something specific in your EULA for your particular game, that's not anything we'd be able to figure out for you, especially without any info on what the game is.

Some things that may make it worth your while to have your own EULA and Privacy Policies:

- online play
- shareable assets
- user-generated content
- collection of user data

The privacy Policy doesn't have to be complicated
for example I use

For clarity, a EULA and a Privacy Policy are two different things.

A EULA is an agreement to cover the developer and their app. This is a document that you want.
A Privacy Policy is a disclosure of what data is or isn't collected by their app. This is a document that governments require.

"No personal information is used, stored, secured nor disclosed by services this application works with." - fubarpk privacy policy

I'm not sure that's true. For example, I have a few of your apps. One of which I downloaded today which is Pixelated Labyrinth. If you use AdMob or any other service that uses the device ID or other device/personal information, Google requires that you disclose to users that you collect, share and use any user data as a result of your use of the ad service.

This is the Privacy Policy I created for one of my games.
At some point next month I'm going to edit it to be a universal document for all my apps going forward.

Your Privacy Policy is short and straight to the point. You might want to change the line I quoted to something similar to the "Information Collection and Use" section of the page I linked.
