since 2019 i've learned about game making for myself, I've been through many engines before, unity(i leaved it because is too hard to start), game maker studio(i leaved it because it has a lot of expensive plans), GDevelop 5(it's so limited and its on beta yet), etc.
I've bought the app game kit bumper pack in a steam offer, and i got it. now im learning how to make a topdown movement.
i'm searching for an engine versatile, multipurpose, and good for any game project, an engine for the whole life.
i want to make a bullet hell, a rogue-like game and things like these...
i want to know if this engine have the enough power to make these dreams.

PD: is this engine has a delta time(i need that data)?

see Timer(), and skim through all of the other commands so that you know what tools are in the shed

Yes, AppGameKit is perfect for that, its a framework not an engine, you can use this framework to build any engine you like.

Many of us are wondering this to be honest, I'd like to say Yes but have no confidence I am correct.

Classic definitely won't serve you for your whole developers life.
And adding to that, nobody knows which tool will be there in 10, 20 30 years.

Weeeeeeeelllll for me C/C++ has served me for over twenty years now, C# has been here for many decades and python is going from strength to strength. AppGameKit Classic might not cut it in thirty years (try running a DBClassic game from 2000 to see where I'm going with here) but language wise it might be. What I would be wondering is would windows still be usable in thirty years considering the changes that have happened in recent years

"would windows still be usable in thirty years considering the changes that have happened in recent years"

Windows could very possibly still be around, however programs written now more than likely won't run on computers 30 years from now.
Ex: Anything you wrote for DOS or a 16-bit or 32-bit Windows needs an emulator or virtual box to run on a modern PC.
