I will be creating a website of gamedevelopers top 100 games of all time, and i was wondering if anyone here would like to participate. All you have to do is submit me a list of your favorite top 10, not 100 games of all time, and that top 10 list will compile to a top 100.

You can e-mail me your list to thesousas2002@yahoo.com or you can just reply to this post and ill record your game lists. Thank you for your time.

hmmm....

1. Final Fantasy (1 to 12 and advance...its hard to choose cause they each give you something different)

Man...making top 10 games of all time list is hard...I think it would be easier to make a top 10 per genre...that way I wouldnt have to leave out halo and tomb raider(you have to aadmit lara did alot for pc gaming), there are just so many great games for varoius reasons....

based mostly on the sheer amount of time I spent on them, some games just are addictive. some are eye candy of the moment and forgetable, like Farcry, very pretty but weak gameplay, will be forgotten by next year (when Doom III comes out).

Was it just me or did every single Resident Evil game end exactly the same? "Warning, this facility will self-destruct in 10 minutes> enter tyrant> kill tyrant> end"

That was for every one, Resi 1, DC, Resi 2, Resi 3: Nemesis, Resi: Survivor... Got repetitive.

Same with Street Fighter... must be up to Super Street Fighter Plus Ex Alpha 2000 DX now...

-Morrowind
-Gothic

Okay I'll try to list them!

1. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
2. Unreal Tournament
3. Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings (with The Conquerors expansion)
4. Gothic
5. The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
6. Age of Empires
7. Unreal Tournament 2004
8. Thief II: The Metal Age
9. Diablo II (With Lord of Desctruction expansion)
10. Thief: The Dark Project

Hard to list them. They're all truly spectacular games, pinnacles of their genre and deserved of the highest positions in the annals of game fame. Half-Life: Opposing Force almost gets on there, but not quite; perhaps HL2 would when it's released, and Thief III also, and maybe Gothic II when I play it, but I'm being fair and only listing ones I've played.

I will add that it beats me how people can possibly put arcade games like Mario on their top 10 lists. Games are rather like movies for me, they have to have true atmosphere, be engrossing and very fun at the same time. But each to their own .

Heh, it's also tough not to put classics like Ultima Underworld and UU II on the list. Those were the first simulated 3d fatnasy adventure RPGs, and truly amazing games they were! Deus Ex is also a really close contender, probaly number 11 or 12. Great game that!

It is tough thinking of which are actually your favourites; as you can see I don't really have a major preference to gameplay styles, visual styles or even story styles.

* Me and my friend were playing 1-on-1 in C&CG:ZH. I was China Tank general and he was China Nuke general. I started to invade him with my Emporer Overlords and so he sent his nuke MiGs to defend himself. He blew up all but one. It got shot, flew into the air, and then landed and kept going. So he shot it again, with about 6 MiGs, it was spinning in the air, and being shot mid air, but still landed and kept going wih 50% health. I actually got it to his base, but his tanks took it out. So i blew him up with 2 nukes (knocked out his power, invaded while he was blind )

Well done Exeat, we know he's just another lying CM-C clone now .

Dario-> As long as one Thief, one Elder Scrolls, and one Unreal Tournament game make it onto the list, I'll be happy ...

(but I have a feeling the ES games aren't gonna make it . Simlpy not enough people appreciate games with real depth anymore . )
