ditto. I´ve played through that god knows how many times with god knows how many people. It´s great fun!

What?! I´ve been a DC fan for god knows how many years and I never knew that. That´s it...

Halo PC was a disappointment for me, not a whole ton of stuff. The only exciting thing was the online multiplayer, but then you could just use XBConnect for Halo XB.

Yea ok they do, but wouldn't you much rather play on a system that can handle the game much better than the ps2. I mean yea the ps2 has loads of games for it, but the majority of good games comeout on the xbox and gamecube anyway. I mean don't think i am biased because i have all the consoles, lol. My point is, if you bought doom 3 wouldn't you much rather play it on a high spec machine rather than a low one? Same for ps2, why play on a system that is lowspec? Not having a go at the ps2, i mean they did sort of set a standard in gaming systems"

But I already have a PS2 but I don't have an Xbox so if I can get the game for the PS2 which I already have why would I get an Xbox? Plus the PS2 has a large amount of games that are PS2 only that I think are better gameplay wise.

Quote: "There are no games being released on PS2 only, any game released on PS2 will also be released on XBox bar a few exceptions - but XBox has several Box-only games, like Halo/2, Doom3, HL2, PS2 simply will never have games as advanced as these. It's funny how many PS2 rules friends I used to have, now everyone has an XBox.
"

Nowadays, yes, more games are being released for PS2 and Xbox but there are many games already released that are PS2 only that I'd much rather play than some of the Xbox only titles coming out now.

Halo doesnt have the greatest ever grpahics but its still pretty good for when it came out. I think people like it for the atmosphere, story line and the amount of features and functionality through multiplayer etc. Halo is a good game and halo 2 looks like pretty immpresive to me so i dunno maybe you been smoking something funny cause its recognised universally as a fun game.

Also ps2 has nothing agaisnt xbox its better in every area. The only reason there are a lot of games is because ps2 came out before xbox but now there are a lot of great games for xbox.

Halo was so successful because it was the first console/casual FPS to entertain the masses since goldeneye.

I'm walking around school talking to people...everybody plays Halo, even people you wouldn't expect to even think about touching a videogame.
