At the end of the day, if people can't take that as just good humour, which in my opinion, needed doing, then don't read the thread, I still get to sleep at night knowing I've tickled a few here. Frankly this isn't my worst prank, I've done better before but that's a long story!

Paul.

[EDIT] Besides, at least I released a demo, albeit a buggy one!

Good humor, usually doesn't come at another person's expense though.

ITS A JOKE!
Understand the word "Joke"?
I mean really, some of you are really uptight about this... theres no need to be. All its doing is taking at a "proven fake" RPG that someone was making.

People with no sense of humor make me sick sometimes.

It wasn't a proven fake, by the way. You all just ganged up on him and declared it was fake. What were the reasons again? Oh yeah, the resolution was wrong. Real solid evidence, there.

Oh well, I don't care.

LEts take a look at the evidence

1) Last nights "upload" that he said he uplaoded then failed. The FTP he was uploading to was lynx's. He never even tried to upload.

2) Resolution was one thing, but there was something wrong with the camera angles in the first place (they we're pitched extremely wierd).

3) His hole deal about the "I got 200 clients to connect, though they we're just me 200 times." By my calculations, you can't get a DBP app to even be able to run 5 times, even on a top-end computer, without the computer biting the dust. So thats how many computers (top end) would he of needed?

4) Thats when he came into the IRC and couldn't answer any questions, even simple ones... about how he did the 200 client thing. I was quite curious to know as knowing how to do that would help me in the future...

5) He has no proof his dad knows anything, and the only thing that he could show us of his dad is " http://stuckonstuckeys.com/ ".

I think this is just another kid with high hopes, thats nice, but they're unrealistic hopes, and he shouldn't go around lying about it.

Eric

Just to show that this was all worth while, 'Return_of_the_noob306' is Sagetech, and here is the log on IRC to show that it was indeed a farse. Happy now.

You seriously need a social life. Did you know that there is a whole world outside your house?

Really, if you find this at all funny then you have to get out more. Perhaps with APEXnow.

Wow so many.. wierdos ... treat this place almost as their home, and they think its the only thing they that exists in their lives. Sad. Very sad.

Really? Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to notify my wife and son when I next go out for a social visit!

Maybe you should join us, then we could all have a laff.

I have posted like 1 thread here in the general discussion area, and like the first for about seven months, I take my IT background very seriously, and have contributed to the DBPro community in various aspects to help development of some seriously good applications, so I don't think that posting one thread, which has got a few giggles, is going to contribute to the increasing number of weirdos that inhabit these here parts.

If you've got nothing better to do than sit here reading posts, there's a world outside your house that's worthy of a social visit!

Paul.

Following horizon lines you end up with the centre of the camera's FOV to be not the centre of the camera view. Plus the 3d is at a different resolution than the 2d

Ok, it's time this thread is locked. Not because of the original content, but because of the humourless souls that trudge this forum looking for ways to make everyone elses life more miserable. I can see no malicious intent from the original post (or any subsequent posts on the topic) so it's a shame I have to lock a thread that's only aim was to lighten up the forum.

In the future, I'd hope the likes of some users (yes, you Benjamin) would stop insulting people just because they don't find something funny. Everyone has a different sense of humour, and you're not the one to judge what's funny and not. If you don't like it then don't read the thread, simple as that.

This has been locked to prevent foreseeable flaming.
