The quickest way to get a thred to die is ask a mod to lock it. You'd better start that new thred when your demo's ready, though.

you ignorant selfish and lazy pig, you start a project and don't have the guts to finish it, I spit on you...........

..........
..........

nah I don't mean it, just thought I'd tense you up for a weird reason
from what he sent me, if he sorts out his bugs he's got enough to release to please everyone on here and have enough to showcase (heck even with the bugs left in) Lets just say I love his demo, proffesional (well you won't be as impressed, because what I've seen of tutopia looks very proffesional too)

attached is tech demo of skeleton with mapped character... he can look up and down and move e.t.c.

if people think ive started this game, you wrong everything ive done so far is tech demos, and im picking parts out of all the tech demos to put into one last major piece which will be the actual game

im doing skeleton, models and animation tech demos now, last one was landscape and combat tech demo...

so far ive done collision, map maker, hanging, single, dual wielding, 2-handed weapons, skeletons, landscapes, enemies,

to do is better melee, ragdoll(maybe), annnnnd... improved AI... o, and a nice HUD and menus

so, this engine is coming to an end, then i can make the actual game with nice cinematics and better graphics, loads of weapons, and great story e.t.c.

wow, this engine has taken just over a year of 6 hours a day work so far, i have over 1 gig of tech demos and graphical features, coming to me writting over 1,000,000 lines of code this engine will be used for ALL my future games, not just COB, so i think its worth all the time im putting into it...
any questions about the game(COB) or the engine(SchizoEngine), please ask

[EDIT] o, the tech demos come to a total of 1.71 gig mwahah

:p

1,000,000? Woah! All the work I've done on Tutopia only came to about 100,000! But if you are using this for all future games as well then I guess it makes sense.

My game comes to about 7,000; and that takes about 45 seconds to compile.

Keep up the good work

the other msn pics aren't him, I guess its hard to convince people that your not gay you know

Cool......I'm not called that much either (only by a couple of people, what freaks! I'm the opposite)
Hey Manticore, people would call you cool if you're that much of a bul..... I mean if they're scared of you all you have to do is, 'I'm cool or else' then snarl and shake your fist

Just wondering, what does COB stand for?

Is it like "corn on the COB", is the main caracter acctually a cob of corn?

A pyromaniac, sharp knife loving, gay, choped and screaming corn on the cob?

*update*:
better enemy AI... added enemy "see" ability, you can hide behind objects or behind enemies, and they cant see you... alert mode, if caught alert mode activates for some time... enemies patrol until they see you, then attack, when alert mode over, go back to their route.

2-player mode, share the same screen, camera zooms according to how far apart players are...
