It would seem to me a beta tool designed to work only with an outdated compiler has a few issues? Is TGC ever going to try to get it current? At least they should've tried to make it work with either GNU C++ or Visual Studio C++ Express(in beta but will be under $100 from ms at release) for lower consumer cost. It's hard to even get a copy of C++ 6.0 these days. I don't currently have C++ but I'm looking into getting it and will likely get .NET '05 next year. This will be then current tool.
I would love to be able to have a decent engine at that time and don't want to learn 1000+ new commands from another engine. My current project have been put off long enough.
My issue is this. Will TGC ever support a current development enviroment with the SDK?
