OK, so it's a little frustrating trying to learn FPSC V1 while having to look at the manual with a magnifying glass. That, combined with the fact that the TGC crew probably has more pressing issues to deal with, I decided to reformat the manual to a more usable size.

So, here it is. 8 1/2 by 11, single sheet pages, easily printed and put into a 3-ring binder.

I've also included a link for a FlashPaper version.

Nothing has changed, I simply spent a few hours reformatting the orginal document. Enjoy!

how did you edit a .pdf file?? without hacking into it?

Well, it's not too tough when the original PDF document has no security settings. TGC, for one reason or another, decided to make the manual open in terms of being editble.

The only other thing you need is Adobe Acrobat, which I own (version 6).

The process was a little tedious, but well worth it in the end:

1. Open the original PDF document in Acrobat.
2. Print it again as a PDF file, changing the paper size to 11x17.
3. Open the newly created PDF file and crop each page into two seperate pages, saving each one as an individual PDF document.
4. Create a new PDF document "from multiple files" and wallah!

Just as a note... you could have skiped 90% of your work by simply running a converter and making the pdf into a doc,

or you could text only it...

Merranvo,

Actually the opposite is true. I tried doing a couple of conversions first, including HTML, DOC, RTF, and TXT. Horrible results every time.

The final solution keeps the document intact in its intended layout.

Thanks, it's a lot better now because you can read it easier and print it a lot easier as well. Thanks. TGC should put this on the site as the Manual V1 or something.

Yeah looks great. And the file size is 1/3 the original Great job. If they don't put up mirrors, I will see what I can do.

Nice One! The first I thought when I opened the PDF was that I wouldn't be able to make an A5 booklet because the page numbers would be wrong.

Now...I can...cheers!

Great Job!
I was just going to print the manual and found it was going to print
out of sequence. Decided to check on the forum for some info on a
different printout and came across your thread. you have saved me a
lot of messing around. Now i can keep all my printed FPSC stuff in
one binder.

Many thanks for your time taken.
