its a plain with an image on it with transparency.

i was wondering how i could animate it??

A 2D image can only animate if you make more 2D images that are slightly different than the previous image. Play them in sequence on a plain and it animates.

so would i have to make like a timer & keep changing the image on the plain?

yeah.

starT:
make teh plain.
load the images.
texture plain with image nr1.

in the loop:
start a timer.
if timer > 5 then change texture on plain to next image on list
timer = 0
if image = last image then image = first image
repeat

thats how i would have done it. gl
