Update:

Ignore the sqaurish bullet holes; I'm still working on them.

New Screen![b]

[b]UPDATE!!! Walkable Plateform With Metalic Shine!!!

UPDATE!!! Added more metalic shine to the walls, and finally got the bullet holes to work (as you can see in the center of the image), thanks to Sparky and his collision DLL. I've removed he gun so you can see the entire scene

Demo will be vailable soon, after more work.

This is a game that we (Gale Productions) are working on.

For more info, please go to the following forum:

You say you are gale productions.
Are you a registered company or do you just call yourself a company.
Just curious

ok, although it doesn't look "bad", i wouldn't say it's "with quality" from what i can see there is a gun floating infront of the face (the best thing in the picture) then a plain wall and floor then the default blue backround in the back...

Why was the word "Quality" included in the thread topic?

Sorry, I said "quality" because I just started yesterday, and was planning to make it quality.

@Big Man: Gale is not a real company, you have to pay for those. It's just for fun; a lot of people do that. There are 3 people in my "company": a modeller, a music maker, and a level designer; as you may have guessed, I am the coder.

@DarkBasic Mad: sort of. Actually, it's a matrix and several cubes for each wall, to increase "quality".

More info:

This game is actually more of a test, because I'm thinking of getting DBPro, and want to see what it can do.

I haven't received a map from my level maker, but basically, this game qwill be a typical FPS; blast through everyone and everything, pick up weapons, etc. I'm using Tree Magic and Plant Life to do some serious vegitating.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I looked that up in the dictionary, and from what I understand, that was not meant to be encouraging.

The uncle sam banner on your site appears to say (but isn't supposed to) "You want you". Sorry to point out the irrelevant, but like, yeh.

if its pretty much just you in the business, the only real money ur gonna have to spend to set it up if filing fees with the state/county, and it isnt that much. But it also depends what type of business structure you deicide to set up

Hey people, kinda a few post back, but just because he stated quality, doesn't mean its gonna be amazing, everything has a quality, good or bad quality could refer to resolution

Argg...tdp, you have to pay business fees every year. And depending on the corporate size, then you have to pay extra or less money. Then employment is a pain..each year you have to tell the government all of your employees.

Also, I have someone doing the hands, so it will look much better.

Quote: "Jr noober"
wtf....didnt i say that, just in a different order, or r u not trying to correct me?

first off, everything i said came off of this:
Quote: "if its pretty much just you in the business"

that means no employment

yours:
Quote: "you have to pay business fees every year"

mine:
Quote: "filing fees with the state/county, and it isnt that much"

and that is mostly made up of filing fees so you can reserve your name and w/e else, but they really do change in each specific case, there is no "pay $500 a year for a business" fee

Quote: "you have to pay business fees every year, And depending on the corporate size, then you have to pay extra or less money."
i swear.....would you mind quoting the source where you found this, i gotta go and give em a talkin to...

now if instead of "fees", you meant "taxes"....

[EDITBut all of this can and will probaly vary dpending on what state you live in and county.

I'm here to do homework, and kick ass.....

and i just finished my homework.....

Hey man, nice work, keep on it!

Word of advice: NEVER, ever, use BMPs to show screenshots unless they're -really- small... if you want to keep quality use PNG... but heck, BMPs are -big-... :/

I need collision. I'm working on a project and the only thing I can't get to work right is the collision detection with the map.
